Re: Airsense 10 info for Toronto,Ontario, Canada

Why do you even need a cellular connection. You can bring the SD card in when you see the doctor. BTW, my cellular connection did not work in Europe or Asia. I'm not sure about Canada, Mexico, or the Caribbean. It plays "catch up" when I return home. Promoting the fact that you frequent Europe and ...

Re: Favorite hose cover?

I'm a "thrifty" old lady, just went out and bought some fleece, cut a long piece, sewed it together and voila.. a great hose cover. If you do like I do, no zipper, and have trouble putting the cover on your hose... just put a baggie over the end of the hose and slide the cover over.... easy and chea...

Re: RVs and CPAPs

I kept my cpap in the overhead cupboard in my motorhome. When it was time to move, I would just empty the humidifier and tie the doors on the cupboard shut...…. nothing ever fell out in travel  I did travel with a battery set up though..."just in case". Good luck and of course...…..HAPPY CAMPI...

Re: CPAP Warrantee Service

I had to get my Respironics machine (almost 3 years old) fixed under warranty..... I called the DME and explained the sound of grinding that was coming from my machine. She called me within an hour and told me that they were sending me a brand new machine via fed-ex that day and as soon as I receive...

Re: CPAP and vertigo

I too have vertigo and osa. Vertigo appeared before I was on the hose and I ended up deaf in one ear after the first episode. Now I do have a dizzy spell most days but I have found a way to get rid of it easily. At the first sign of being dizzy, I will stop what I am doing and stare at a spot eye le...

Re: 2 nights without electricity (so far)

I have a couple of suggestions for when you loose power. I have a battery set up for my apap when needed and for evening power to read or whatever... I have several portable solar lights around my garden, that I just bring in and put in a plant pot or carry one around with me when I move through the...

Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE

I have an N30i with all 3 nose thingys plus one set of nasal pillows size medium to convert it to a P30i, "very" slightly used since I only tried it out for a week. I am looking for an N20 to trade straight across, also only slightly used or new. Please PM me if you are interested in swapping masks....

Re: Chin strap for full face masks

Ducky, Padacheek liners do not cost a lot. Karen is a mask user herself and knew first hand the problems that cropped up with leaks. Actually, if you still have a remzz liner, just trace it onto an old well washed t-shirt and cut it out, if you no longer have one, just place your mask on the t-shirt...

Re: p10 vs p30i

I have both too. I bought the N301 and then added an M size pillow to make it into a P301 :D . This week I have gone back to the P10 as I have way less leaks than with the P301. The P 10 has a way smaller foot print ….. that after 10 years of different masks is what I wanted. I have a hose buddy so ...

Re: looking for affordable apap machine (newbie)

Do not listen to D.H. he tends to just blab with no sense what so ever. Yes, you can get a machine without a prescription and without a $$$ date with the doctor. As has been stated there are folks that dabble in new and used machine, LSAT is one and he is trustworthy. You definately need an auto mac...

Re: [OT] Happy Pride Day

Nope, my "Happy Canada Day" overrides any other day. """""HAPPY CANADA DAY"""""!!!!! But I have a question... why does everyone have to have a parade to commemorate "their" day????? I am definitely not against anyone being LGBTQ, that is their choice, but I do disagree with having a "DAY" for it. H...
