Re: Feeling Down

I was very happy to finally get a diagnosis and help that I was able to go to bed and to finally not be waking up gasping and then not going back to sleep. Once I got the machine dialed in and was sleeping well, I didn't look back, I had gotten my life back to what it was and was looking forward to ...

Re: Dreamwear Headgear Slippage solved

I went out and bought a roll of 3M coban to try on my P10 and 30i.. Didn't work on either mask I'm afraid to say, my P10 still slid up the back of my head and the 30i still slid down :( . I took the 30i this morning and tried it with the SW mouth piece instead of the M, plus tightened the two straps...

Re: Mouth Taping and Not Suffocating

When I first started my cpap journey I taped up every night ….. now I don't need to since I learned to breathe through my nose . Just after I started, we had a long power outage and I woke up because I couldn't breathe... at all, took off the mask and noticed "no power". When I looked at my stats ne...

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com

I have used tis mask for awhile now and still like it. No leaking and is comforting to wear. My pressure hasn't changed at all, I'm set at 10 to 15 and did a check this morning and my cd card says it still sits at about 11.5 ( which all of the dozens of masks I have tried has done.) I think I will n...

Re: Are Sleep-Docs Needed After Your Therapy Is Dialed-In?

I have never been back to the sleep doc or the DME in my 9 years as a hosehead. I have learned all that I need to know from this fabulous forum and that's the way I will keep it. When I had to go to a pulmonologist for my asthma, he decided I should get a second lab testing done (he owns the lab and...

Re: Mask indentations in my hair- any way to avoid?

There is a fix for the top strap and the dent in your hair. Karen at Padacheek makes a strap cover that works like a charm. I have one on my P10 and it works just fine..... and its cheap

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com

Mine arrived in the mail yesterday and I tried it out last night after I gave it a quick wash and made sure it was dry before I put it on.. I only woke up a few times to re-adjust it but otherwise I like it very much. I have one question though….the vent at the top of the head, I don't see why its t...

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com

I just opened my wallet and ordered it :o . I have read all of your great and some not so great reviews and decided since I can't use the new strapless mask I would go for this one. Here's hoping it does the trick for me too. Will post my thoughts once I receive mine in the mail...…. anywhere from a...

Re: I Have an Itch

I used to use a chop stick to scratch a face itch when I used a full face mask. Kept the chop stick on my night table, once the "itchies" went away I chucked the stick out  . I also chucked the FFM when I discovered I didn't need it... damn DME :D :D

Re: Watch for upcoming news about the Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask

Isn't this the mask with the "tape" that holds the mask on? When you all try it, would you please let me know how the tape reacts with your skin...… I'm really allergic to most tapes so need to know how it works for you. As soon as I saw the ad for it, I thought WOW would I go for that.....then came...

Re: Hybrid masks

I am one of those original users of the Innomed. I used it for about 3 years and then switched to nasal pillows. With the hybrid I always cut the chin thingy off on all of my masks. If you do a search for an old member "rooster or Roster", he had a whole bunch of suggestions for the hybrid that WORK...
