Re: Pilairo!

Well, I must be the odd gal out with this mask. I find for me it rides very high on the cheek almost to my eye socket, and in the am the tip of my nose and where the clips are, and my front teeth is very sore and I have lots of facial marks. I love the feel of the pillows though and may try one more...

Yes, but add in some car accidents, broken bones too. Things get better with cpap.

Re: Pilairo!

Well I'm not sure if I should even count last night as a first time try with the Palairo? I usually relax in bed by reading, mask on and after a couple of hours, retire the Nook and fall asleep with in minutes. Last retired earlier than usual after chasing around my grandbaby all day, powered up the...

Re: Pilairo!

I finally was able to get and new DME supplier, and wow what a positive experience this was! I got my new PCP to fax a mask of choice script to this new DME, but had some issues with the insurance co. they refused the order and told me I had to get the old DME to call them and tell them I cancelled ...

Re: Pilairo!

Thank you for your kind words and offer to send me the short hose. I am all about the pillows, and less is more as well. I am going to call my insurance company as the DME they have made me use has now converted to a warehouse supply of old Resmed and Respironics Masks, send them out periodically to...

Re: Pilairo!

Nap_ster, do you think this mask can be routed overhead, without pulling on the pillows? I'm not getting too much sleep these days and I thought I may try this out of pocket.
Thanks for your awsome reviews.

Re: OT need prayers

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support of me and my family. The Commonweath's Attorney called us today to ask us if we would like to attend the Bond hearing for the man who shot my son-in-law, I'm so proud of my daughter when she replied, "No thank you, we are not able to spend any...

Re: OT need prayers

I am so grateful for all of your prayers, and for each of you as friends. We have gotten some very positive little miracles these past 2 days. Since my son-in-law still needs the breathing tube, cath. feeding tube and a few other hook ups, they are beginning to do some OT and PT services to help him...

Re: Best cleaning solution for the silicone cushion on the mask?

I use Pear Soap on my nasal pillows, and not often as I have normal to dry skin.

Re: OT need prayers

Thank you all for your prayers, please keep them coming, I know they are being answered, because my son-in-law is still fighting in the ICU, unfortunately the breathing tube and cath have had to be re-inserted, but on a more positive note, the brain swelling has stopped for now. They are able to mov...

Re: OT:Good Calories, Bad Calories....

If anyone can give me some ideas for breakfast, that is my most difficult meal. I've been eating too many hard boiled eggs and bacon, not a huge fan as it is of eggs. Running to the ICU and to take care of grandkids is making me eat too many bad foods!
Thanks

Re: OT need prayers

Thank you everyone for your loving thoughts and prayers, please keep them coming. I know God is listening to you all. Today for the first time in a week, my daughter was able to care for her son (16 months old), for four hours without her teenage daughter or myself being with her, she is having a ve...
