I bought a Duracell Ultra 12V 18AH Deep Cycle AGM SLA Battery for $79 in 2019. It will run my CPAP for two nights without recharging. I see you can currently get the same battery in a 35AH for $103. Cheap.
Don't let your political biases drive a bad consumer decision.

Re: Using D cells for that once-in-10-year emergency event
Hi, Regular alkaline D-Cells will not work in powering a CPAP machine. Years ago I actually tried this with an 8 cell (12 volt) battery holder. The Duracell D-Cells lasted all of roughly 30 minutes before the voltage dropped too much and the CPAP shut off. The 0.5 - 0.6 amp my then CPAP drew was ...

Re: Using D cells for that once-in-10-year emergency event
I just looked up the datasheet for a Duracell Coppertop D-cell battery. The largest current application they give in the curves is 2 amps. At this draw, the single cell voltage drops to 1.1V in 30 minutes, and to 0.8V after two hours. IMO, ...

Re: Battery Backup for resmed aircurv 10
My Resmed Aircurve 10 is a 24vdc machine. I use two Duracell 12-35J batteries connected in series to achieve 24vdc.

Re: Battery: "deep cycle" vs "general purpose"
When to pick up a battery and charger in preparation for camping. I was going to get a Duracell 12-35J, which is a deep cycle battery, but instead got a 12-35C, which is "general purpose". They're both AGM. Looks to me that the only real difference between the two ...

Re: Battery: "deep cycle" vs "general purpose"
... It seems like it's probably used in wheelchairs, conventionally.) No, deep cycle batteries are recommended for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Duracell says, Count on deep cycle batteries to have 40% more cycles (or better!) than general purpose batteries in the same application. https://www.batteriesplus.com/psdoc/documents/2020%20bpb%20sla%20catalog.pdf ...

... clock, and other things besides run hours, to decide when to factory brick it. I will be replacing the CR2032 batteries in each of them with duracell batteries this December, but I'm now thinking I should adjust their internal clock back as well so each unit "thinks" it's 2014 or something ...

Re: Choosing a Battery
The Medistrom 24 V unit seems to be around 4 A-h. As far as I can tell, the Duracell battery you posted could run my Airsense 10 for a week even with the humidifier on, seems oversized. It would not be convenient for travel. Has any clever hacker ever tried using ...

Re: High power consumption on battery, Resmed Airsense 10
