Noise from air Spence 10

I have a new air sense 10. When I inhale and exhale I hear something inside making noise. When I inhale it sounds like a flap its opening and same with the exhale to let the air escape. Bad machine?? Anything I can do about it??? Very irritating.

That flap shouldn't be opening and closing when the machine is running. Only opens when the machine stops blowing.

Make sure the humidifier tank is seated properly. An improperly seated, flawed or tank missing it's gasket can "flap" up and down with your breathing.

Re-seat it, or swap in spare. Barring that, with the machine on pinch the tank shut while breathing to see if issue goes away.

Is this your first/only machine?

Swap the old machine with your current hose and mask to see if the problem is with the mask or machine.
