Happy New Year Brothas and Sistas!

Post by So Well » Fri Jan 01, 2016 9:42 am

I haven't forgotten any of you. Doing great with CPAP. I hope all of you are also. I probably need to get a new model this year.

Thanks for all the help in the past and have a great 2016 papping!

Blackeyed Peas anyone? Thinking about making Hoppin John for Supper. Not that I'm believing blackeyed peas will determine the outcome of the new year but I like them.

Hopping John, to promote prosperity in the new year.
In Spain, they eat 12 grapes, one for each chime/month.
The sweet or sour ones are supposed to predict when good or hard times will come.
We didn't have grapes, but I found sweet black cherries in the freezer. Yum!
What will come, will come.

Happy and prosperous new year to all members of the forum. I had a big dinner planned including the traditional black eyed peas, but woke up at 2:00 this morning with congestion and breathing difficulty. Went to urgent care as soon as they opened and found out the flu bug got me. I had the flu vaccine, so it wasn't too bad. Hopefully, I can fix the dinner tomorrow or Sunday. I've stayed up all day today (a steroid to relieve chest congestion does that to me), and hope to sleep better tonight.

Though I don't post much around here, I do still come around and read posts on the best CPAP site around! May all the hose heads here have good success in their XPAP therapy, continue to help newbies who seek help and understanding in their new and often confussing journey, and remember to support each other despite our different perspectives and experiences.

To all here a healthy and Happy New Year!!

John

I had a bottle of Blackberry Wine, split it over Eve and Dinner. I don't know if it will bring luck for the new year, but It did go down easy. Best New Year to us all. Jim

My wife and I celebrated our 21st anniversary on New Years Day eating posole, drinking mulled cider and listening to a dozen antique steam whistles blow at noon on a farm in Albuquerque's south valley. 2016 will be a good year! Posole is a tradition in New Mexico.
