Re: Pugsy

Didn't realize how much I missed the deer in your avatar until I saw them, then...<sigh>..., it was hose head love at first sight (they really do have such cute ears you know ). Welcome back Pugsy, you really were missed! I hope you can see that we mean it from the bottom of our hearts with 6 pages ...

Re: Poll - How many machines do you own?

Cosmo's gone; and I think he took the cupcakes, Too bad. I liked him. +1, I totally agree CF about Cosmo. Though I never received any of his cupcakes, I liked him and enjoyed most of his posts. If you listen carefully you can hear in the distance David Bowie singing to our little CPAPtalk astronaut...

Re: Do you cuddle your hose? Be honest, now

"Hi, My name is John and I cuddle my PAP hose, though only while sleeping and not during my waking hours anymore" Whew, it feels good to get that off of my chest, though not as good as my fleece hose cover does on it . Seriously, I do route the hose under the covers and then it crosses over at my st...

Re: Pugsy

Pugsy was due to be home on Dec. 27. I really hope that everything is alright with her. Oh my goodness.. I guess we all better start worrying.. Hi Bill, I don't know if you were serious or just trying to be funny about our concerns for Pugsy (even though it may indeed seem silly to some), but out o...

Re: Pugsy

Anybody heard from Pugsy, looks like her last post was about 13 days ago. I know she said they were going to the city of lost wages. Maybe we need to send her money for a bus ticket home. Yeah, especially if she took all of the PAP aliens along wth her. I hear they are expensive to keep entertained...

Re: 0.0 Two nights in a row?

My last four nights in a row have been 00 nights......are you saying that my machine is not accurate? It gets unplugged every day. Before the last four nights, I have had quite a few other 00 nights. My AHI has been running 0.00 to 0.70. Just asking?? Janice Hi Janice, I would speculate that if you...

Re: 0.0 Two nights in a row?

hyperlexis, I have also had consecutive days of 0.0 AHI, but it was not because of a mask change. Perhaps the change has improved unknown leaks or even provided more comfort and less awakenings thus improving your numbers (the machines when gathering data don't know if you are asleep or awake, as Pu...

Re: Hi everyone!

Welcome back Cindy . I had a 5 or 6 month period where I was away in 2012 because of severe family health issues. I came back around the forum very slowly, felt almost apprehensive to post anything like everyone would be judging me or even be unkind. Don't know where that was coming from as I had ne...

Re: Where is Kevin khauser?

Hi Stormy, His could just be away for the Holidays, perhaps vacationing, or even a break - a self imposed hiatus from the Forum. Over the years some of the biggest contributors have been absent, some for extended periods of time. Hopefully all is well with him and his family and we will be blessed w...

CPAPpoll.com

Wow, the 'polls' must have finally done their multi-year underground transformations and have shed their old and dusty exoskeletons. They are now renewed and have emerged to fly all around the forum in a frenzy! Fortunately, their flights should be short lived and they will once again go undergroun...

Re: PR System One Heated Humidifier

Muddpa, I believe kwikwater and CF are probably right about the problem you are having. I once dislodged the dry box seal while wiping down the inside of the humidifier. You can feel it in the back of the humidifier once the water tank is removed. When the humidifer was turned on it made a lot of no...

Re: Worried about inhaling filter fibers?

I agree with ugwhatname. It sounds like you are talking about the white fine particulate filter which can be used or not as the user desires. I would just remove the offending white filter and use only the foam filter (mine is grey for my PR System One machine) until you get replacements. Certainly ...

Re: Poll: untreated AHI and prescribed pressure

Untreated AHI = 73.8 Starting Pressure = 11.0 cmH2O - 17.0 cmH2O (APAP) After a few nights the AHI went down to 7.0 - 9.0, but the pressure was hitting the ceiling some nights so I moved the high setting to 18 cmH2O for a few weeks. In time things settled down as my body and mind adapted to PAP ther...
