Can ineffective xPAP be worse than no CPAP at all?

I'm just getting back into XPAP after a period of very bad compliance (bad me). For the first few days I was feeling really good again, but then I had two bad nights in a row in which I woke with a significant headache and had lots of bad EDS. I felt much, much worse than I ever did when I was being...

First night with new S9 Autoset

My new S9 Autoset arrived yesterday (awesome job cpap.com: 36 hours from order to doorstep), after 9 years of using a non data capable Resmed S6 Lightweight. I want to get an idea of what my stats have been, so last night I set it up identically to my old prescription: CPAP 11 cm, no apr, no smart s...

Re: setup for a resmed s6 machine

My ResMed CPAP S6 is a "lightweight". There is no master switch or a display. It is over 8 years old. So is my old machine. Re: Is downing the software legal?

I'm really excited to see that you're working on a Linux compatible software for the ResMed S9. My S9 should be arriving in a few days (to replace my mega-ancient dumb CPAP).

I've got 30+ years Unix/Linux programming experience. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.

XPAP sure has changed in the 10 years since I was officially diagnosed. I remember people (including nurses I met socially) commenting on the lengthy pauses in my very loud snoring even when I was in my twenties, but I could not convince a doctor to give me a sleep study (non-obese young male : no w...
