Re: intellipap fried but not toasted on car battery
Devilbiss marketer got back to me, pointing out that the manual does say the Devilbiss parts (clamp bit and plug bit) that are required .though I still think it should have in bold "WARNING incorrect polarity using non Devilbiss cables.... might toast your unit" and the manual does mention the bott...

Re: do these machines ever update?
Devillbis upgraded the firmware when they introduced "smartflex" mine did not have it as I bought it before it came out. I bought the software and data module and that came with a cable to hook to my laptop. Went to the Devillbis website, located the firmware code, downloaded and updated my CPAP. N...

Re: intellipap fried but not toasted on car battery
The $25 cord is the "offical" Devilbis one. You can buy one cheaper at Radio Shack. Or make one. Both ends of the cord are very common. The center is + on the Intellipap. But since you already smoked it, I doubt it would work any longer off 12v. They come with a 3yr warranty, you might try and see i...

If cpap caused that kind of growth most men would probably be 100% compliant!!jamiswolf wrote:Hi Kody,

If testosterone related, have you noticed increased growth in other parts of your body?

Re: intellipap fried but not toasted on car battery
My Intellipap is marked on the bottom with the polarity. Center is +. I have tested mine on 12v from a portable "Jump Start" battery pack, It will run at least 9hrs on the battery (possibly longer but I woke up).. It really sounds like you reversed the polarity.

OT Phillips Respironics Rep
I work in a hospital in IT. I got a call from our sleep lab that the local rep from Respironics was trying to install Encore Pro 2 on one of our pc's. The PC's here are locked down pretty tight so he was unable to under a users login. So I had to go there and install it under my login. As we were wa...

Re: Dell Thinks I'm A Nuclear Terrorist . . .
The original post says this happened in 2009. This is now 2011. A lot of things may have changed at Dell. They have changed some of their outsourcing policies.

Re: Second Machine for RV use
You would not need the data module with the Intellipap. With the module it allows for more graphs and details, but the Smartcodes provide what most would need. If you bought the data module it comes with the software. You could always start without it then add it later if you felt you needed it. Als...

Re: IntelliPAP "While Breathing Hours"
Unplug your machine and plug it back in right before you go to bed tonight. This will reset the 12 hr clock.
Without the module the intellipap uses a 12hr block of time. It starts at 0 when you plug in the machine

I was one with an older IP that did not have smartflex. Downloaded the firmware upgrade, hooked up the cable to my laptop and **POOF** my IP was up to date with all of the latest features! !

Re: New to Intellipap
I have seen my on screen results way off also like you describe and the smartcodes showing completely different results. I think the onscreen is what is off, because when looking at my data with the software, that matches the smartcodes. I basically ignore the onscreen
