Re: Quattro FX leaks..proper adjustment equals smiles
Peterg, the elastic idea works great, but I wish I could just figure out a way to clip something on instead of tucking and wrapping each night....but it sure beats the leaks!

Re: Day 1... Day 2.... WOW
Monitoring this board, and doing searches to answer all of my questions, has been one of the smartest thing I have ever done. I have only been on CPAP for a little over a month, but every issue that I had was answered by the kind people on this board! Good luck to you as you establish your new NORMA...

Re: Over two weeks on CPAP and its getting worse
Kind of wonder about the "illegal" part. Not sure, but I have had mine just over 30 days and I wonder if the DME will read me the riot act when he notices that I have made some slight "adjustments" since the day I picked it up?

Re: Quattro FX leaks..proper adjustment equals smiles
I am still having trouble with my mask riding up at night. Peter G, I am not sure I get what you are suggesting. Please explain. Thankstrying a piece of elastic under my chin and around the lower straps, loosely wrapped around itself to knot. such that it falls off when I take the mask off.

Re: Quattro FX leaks..proper adjustment equals smiles
I loosened my top straps last night and wow, what a difference! I did not have to way up and keep pulling the mask down as it leaked and became noisy. Thanks for the great info!

There are a number of sights that sell them, but this is about the cheapest.

Re: Did some tinkering
I, according to the instruction, put the adhesive attachment 24" from the center of my pillow, on the wall. The first velcro loop around the hose was at about 18" and the next one ended up being about 8" from that. Too close together and it pulled the mask to much. As for the swivel catching, mine d...

Re: Did some tinkering
Well, I have only used it for one night so far....so the jury is still out. I did end up adjusting the spacing of the two wraps though because with them close together it pulled a little to hard on the connection of the hose. Will take some experimenting I suppose.

Re: Did some tinkering
The CozyHose consists of a couple of retractable lines that attach to the wall via a 3M adhesive strip and connect to the hose in 2 places with velcro wraps. The device keeps the hose above my head and towards the wall so that I won't roll back and forth and find it wrapped around my neck during the...

Mine wouldn't give me the S9 auto unless it said "Auto" in the script. I had my doc write me a new one and got it.

Re: Your Choice, your Vote
I am a newbie too, but I do feel there is a certain amount of "higher power" things that have effected my life. Flagging things with an OT in the subject should be reasonable enough so that those who do not want to see it don't have to open it.

Did some tinkering
Hi, I got curious about what would happen in regards to snoring if I just my max pressure up from 8.4 to 8.8, and it did drop my snoring down to about a third of what it was. I did have about 4 obstructive events just a couple of hours before I woke up, but felt pretty good. I did get my CozyHose th...

Re: snoring and cpap
I was wondering about this myself. My AHI numbers are good, but sometimes my snoring is off the charts according to the daily reports. Wonder if I should up the pressure a wee bit?

Re: Mirage Quattro FX FFM - Feedback?
I am a newbie, so the FX FFM is the only thing I have used but I like it. Did just order the padacheek for the straps because the lower straps and snaps leave lines on my face for hours (I am a stomach sleeper)
