If you’re at all handy this will take 20 mins. Just have a spare humidifier tank handy.

Re: Mouth Tape?
I have a differing viewpoint from @ozij - I have been using 3M Micropore 2" to tape my mouth for years and years, no issues. I wash my face before applying, leaving it _slightly_ damp (very slightly - not wet at all). I then use my fingers/fingernails to apply pressure all around, especially at the ...

Re: When to end CPAP
Using cpap isn’t treating the underlying causes (obstructions in your airway). If your physiology has changed then maybe, perhaps you could stop using it.
The only way to know for sure is to have a sleep study without cpap and see how your body does.

Re: Just Venting/Questions
How can I prevent this dreaded desert like dry mouth freaking issue. I either wake up with my mouth cement shut by the dryness or feeling like I was left alone in the desert and chugged a glass full of hot sand. @Vako I’ll take a constructive stab at answering this / sharing my routine to prevent d...

Re: diagnosed with sleep apnea, need some advice
As previously said, you're going to need to commit to this journey -- but only if you want to. Yes, it's bizarre, scary, weird. I get it. It's also the gold standard in treating sleep apnea. And if you think about it, it's not surgical, it's 'reversible' (stop using it), it's not painful. It will be...

Re: Wired (or wireless) remote for Resemed Airsense 10
Maybe I don't understand what you accomplished, but wouldn't it have been simpler and cheap ($11) to buy a remote on/off switch? https://www.lowes.com/pd/PRIME-Prime-Black-Remote-Control/1000515527 If you read through my writeup, I did use that initially. But: A) it corrupted my SD card (can't say ...

Wired (or wireless) remote for Resmed Airsense 10
Disclaimer Obviously this voids your warranty. Don't do this unless you're comfortable working with electronics. I'm not responsible if you choose to do this and you end up breaking your life preserving/saving machine. I had a an extra machine to work on this. Why? My Airsense 10 is located on a lo...

Re: Water Resevoir Question
I also fill it up each night, reusing previous night's distilled water. It's not a huge deal either way. Periodically (infrequently) I clean everything and dump it and start over.
You should do what you're comfortable with - no harm (besides some wasted water) in dumping it each day.

Re: Need help, not a newbie
If you liked the N30i you could try taping your mouth shut at night - sounds crazy but it works well to prevent mouth breathing. Just fold over a corner so you can easily pull it off as needed. I use 3M micropore 2” and it works well. Wash your face before applying, leave _slightly_ damp (very sligh...

Re: Side Cover Cleaning for AS10 and AS11?
Sounds like the filter for the air intake - it filters the air that goes through the machine that you breath. If that’s the case the filters are very inexpensive and available at cpap.com or wherever (amazon has them too). You should change them periodically, depending on quality of air in your home...

Re: renewing prescription
I have sent expired scripts with no issues for years (more than 15). If you need supplies / masks upload the expired script and see what happens - I have never had an issue. Worst case they’ll just reject it. Alternatively I believe there are a few home sleep study tests you can get that will have a...

Re: Bleep hose management advice
I use the “Cozyhose boss” when I travel.

(But I actually adapted to the Bleep without hose management, just sit it on my chest and it somehow works)
