So come fall and early winter ( until christmas ) machine report showed an increase in Cheyne Stokes with some nights up to 18%. The graphs in Oscar did show the proper waxing and waning with delays inbetween. I also noticed an increase in leak rate ( using an n30 nasal mask ) When I went for my yearly with the cardiologist ( have had a heart attack and bypass ) he ordered an ultrasound stress test which came out negative for heart failure or progression of heart disease. Thinking that the leak rate was getting way too high I started using an full face mask F30 that I had stored away incase I got a cold or something and couldn't use the nasal. The leak rate decreased substantially and for the last four months I have had almost no Cheyne Stokes respirations being recorded. In my case the high leak rate must have been blowing off the CO2 artificially creating a pattern of Cheyne Stokes.
Hope this helps anyone that finds themselves in the same scenario
