Re: Eson mask sizing
Thanks for the response. I have never had a problem with any mask Ive had with sores or anything. Hmm now you have me wondering if I should try it or not. I sleep on my side a lot and thought this would be a good one to try. Also thought of going to the pillow mask but it seems so different from wh...

Re: FitLife Total Face Mask - $60
That seems like a really great price. I wonder why so cheap? I never knew Sears sold CPAP stuff! Hi Vader, It actually isn't Sears, it is Sears Market. The masks actually come from LiveGood Medical. Again, they ship promptly and shipping is free. I don't understand why they are so cheap either. But...

Re: Eson mask sizing
Hi, I can't seem to find any sizing on the Fisher & Paykel Eson mask. Thinking of trying it out but need to know what size I should order. Cpap.com couldn't seem to help me out. I use size medium with the Comfortgel Original. Thanks Hi Oneeyedjack, I bought an Eson and used it for two nights. It is...

Re: FOR SALE - TWO ResMed S9 VPAP Adapts
So how did you get your machines. What's the story behind them? Through a friend of a small DME. The ASVs are in perfect condition. The reason for the lower price is obviously they would not be under warranty. But the price at well under 50% of anything I have seen from any on-line DME site, makes ...

Re: FOR SALE - TWO ResMed S9 VPAP Adapts
Question: Which Resmed S9 VPAP model are these? Comments: You should show Run Hours, not usage hours (the latter can easily be reset, run hours cannot) It is the ASV unit - ResMed S9 VPAP Adapt. Below I've pasted the screen shot showing the Run Time of 1 Hour. I used the Hours Used and the Sleepyhe...

Re: MediCare Rental is 13 Months Even With Replacement Machine
You can see your actual Medicare claims online if you sign up for a "My Medicare" account. Then you can see exactly how much your DME charged Medicare & exactly how much Medicare paid for each of the months in the 13 month lease. Thanks StuUnderPressure! I went to . . . https://mymedicare.gov/ . . ...

Re: MediCare Rental is 13 Months Even With Replacement Machine
You're not clear with your post. Which machine did you own on 12-28-12, and what's the meaning of "rental period would start over with the ASV" ? Nov 2011 (After two sleep studies) Doc put me on a CPAP . . . 13 month lease began . Mar 2012 (ASV Sleep Study) ASV Prescription. Apria picked up the CPA...

Re: MediCare Rental is 13 Months Even With Replacement Machine
But what does Medicare say? That doesn't sound right to me because the two machines have different HCPCS codes. Apria would get cheated out of a lot of money if they aren't paid for the full 13 months at the bipap rate, which is higher than the CPAP/APAP rate. Did your copays go up when you switche...

MediCare Rental is 13 Months Even With Replacement Machine
Info that might be helpful to members on MediCare I started therapy on 11-23-2011 on a ResMed S9 Elite CPAP. In March 2012, my doc switched me to a PR System One BiPAP autoSV. At the time I was not able to get a straight answer regarding whether the 13 month rental period would start over with the ...
