Re: Supplemental O2 ?

Why are you restricting your max pressure to 14.8? I think that your machine wants to increase above that at times to fight something. i don't see it trying to raise above 14.8 on the charts he's shown. On 1-9 it went to 14.6 and on the next one 1-15 it did max at 14.8. He may have a valid reason t...

Re: I'm a newbie and need help on picking resmed or dreamstation please!

I own both a dreamstation APAP and a resmed autoset for her. I much prefer the resmed algorithm over the dreamstation. It is quicker to respond, and the breathing feels more natural to me. As with all thing’s CPAP YMMV.

Ok, I just saw this post: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t177435/Cheapest-place-to-buy-NEW-Philips-Respironics-DreamStation-Auto-CPAP.html And I've just read a compelling personal review that the Resmed is better than the Dreamstation auto: "1) Resmed’s auto algorithm responds more dynamically t...

Re: Degrading Scores :( Trying to learn how to read OSCAR data

1. Show Pugsy the requested charts. You are in good hands. People here care about your therapy and are smarter than the "sleep tech". 2. The sleep tech at your DME doesn't care about your therapy. Humidly settings will not affect your AHI. Apparently you are not important enough for them to care abo...

Trim your nasal hair and that should take care of the nasal itch, they blow in the wind.
The outside of my nose itches :/
Trust us. I know it sounds odd, but it does work.

Do I have to change the time on my CPAP machine tonight? Don’t mean to sound stupid.... I have to change the time on the stove, microwave & cuckoo clock!
Should change itself, based on the cellular time.
They don't.

Welcome to the forum. We have at least 2 experts on the UK health system, and they can help you navigate it. They are Rick Blaine and JAS. If you could go back to your original 1st post and edit the title to add UK in it, they would be more likely to see this thread and offer advise. Pugsy (our mode...
