Re: DENVER forum meetup: Saturday, May 19th

Hi Starlette, I would love to be there but I'm not sure I can make it. I probably won't know until Friday pm. Teri is still back in IA with her Mom. Kim

Re: How to deal with air leaks with "Quattro FX"?

The size and shape of your face may be the problem. I am a 6 ft 215 pound guy and the bridge of my nose was too narrow to use the FX. I love my Mirage Quattro, and I am using a SMALL size. Did the person at your DME really know how to fit the mask?
Good luck.

Re: An article on Central Sleep Apnea

Thank you John. I always appreciate reading your blog. It's interesting that Teri and I have no other medical problems as a cause for our CSA. We do live at 8,000 feet on a mountain. I have never been able to find an explanation for why that makes a difference. I've asked my pulmonologist-an extreme...

Re: DENVER forum meetup: April 2012

We would love to, but probably can't. Teri will probably still be in IA with her Mom. And I have a 4 hour driving test. I hope you all enjoy! It's a great meeting. Carbonman, we are so sorry to hear about your mother and dad-we understand! Blessings.

Re: Central Sleep Apnea - More info?

I'm sorry for what brought you here, and I'm glad you are here. All if the info above is great-I agree completely. I'll briefly add my experience. I'm lucky, I have a wonderful, competent sleep doc. When my first two-part sleep study showed mild OSA and increasing CAs with increasing CPAP pressure, ...

Re: I just seem to get worse and worse HELP!

I'm glad you are on the forum. I seem to be one of the few people that likes the Mirage Quattro. It took about 40 minutes to find the "sweet spot" where it floats on my face and doesn't leak. It needs gentle finessing. Tighening too much causes leaks to worsen. My only problem is when my ASV pressur...

Re: Concerned about shortness of breath

See your doctor urgently. A Fib can be tricky to control. Blood clots to the lungs can be "silent", and also deadly. Sandman19
