Re: Question re: How early to mask up at night?
Thanks for the confirmation. I worry that I will fall asleep without the mask if I don't put it on when I get into bed. Just didn't want to be "doing it wrong". Hi Foggy, Data aside...falling asleep without the mask would be my biggest worry. I always mask up when going to bed. I have a talking boo...

Re: What causes the extreme sleepiness n the afternoon.
I know that I can have an afternoon nap of an 45 minutes up to two hours, and feel greatly refreshed. I am curious to what I am not getting at night that causes the need for the siesta. Hi Purple, I agree with the above posts...all can cause afternoon drowsiness. But with known OSA, sub-optimal tre...

Re: What to do ?
Hi Rosie, I've never used pillows but the idea of having another mask/option is a good idea. Your pressures are low and if you're having such issues with the FFM, could you have the straps too tight? I used to have skin issues, but they were resolved with cushion liners...thinking because it lets th...

Re: Where Do I Sell my ResMed Vpap Adapt SV
Your Adapt is designed to treat OSA as well as central apneas. Central apneas aren't necessarily eliminated by weight loss. So selling is definitely premature. You better keep it because you'll most likely still need it.

Old Dude,
A long, deep central apnea can do that to you also. Used to happen to me regularly. An oximeter reading can reveal whether that may be the case.

Re: Moving Target: Ongoing Mask Issues
Hi Mohns, Sorry the Qair is failing you. I haven't tried the chin strap trick yet...but I'm very happy with me regular Quattro performance and I'm not highly motivated. I noticed you run high pressures, which only makes things more difficult. John Fisher and the asv crew have loads of experience dea...

Re: His 'n Hers Machine
hyperlexus, I don't know if you meant this seriously or expected much response...but basically it's a bad idea. It would be very close to two machines in one box...so little savings. And just like a TV with a built-in dvd, if the dvd breaks down...you have to take the whole shebang into the shop. I ...
