For a group I run, I use AzzCardFile.
I have a card for every common question, with my boilerplate answer.
When Question 16B comes up, I go to Card 16B, copy the boiler plate, paste it into my reply and then take a couple minutes to personalize it.
Saves a LOT of typing.

Re: Oscar Question
I think it is the settings bug in action....and I don't know if I would even trust the other stuff unless I could confirm it with Encore Pro. Do you have Encore Pro and a very new version at that? I have Encore Pro, but I (ahem) managed to lose my password, so I should probably just uninstall it. T...

Re: Oscar Question
Addendum: Oscar shows, at the beginning of a night, EPAP 4.7, MinIpap 7.6, IPAP 7.7, Max IPAP 8.01, and PS 3.00
None of which is correct.

Re: Oscar Question
Talking an AHI of 6.4 which is almost triple what I usually had -- that's why I was concerned about Oscar showing the lower pressures. (BTW, if there are directions for copying an SD card, I could provide data from both the Dream Station ASV and the System One 950, since I am still using my 950 as a...

Re: Oscar Question
My original EPAP was 6 -- my original machine didn't have a range, and I could not breathe out against anything higher. When I got my Dreamstation, which DID have a range, I did not have any recommendations. I don't currently have a doctor to consult with on the PAP, so, like many of us, I'm winging...

Oscar Question
I have a Bipap ASV.
Epap is 6-7.5
Min PS is 4
Max PS is 8.
But Oscar reports my min EPAP anywhere from 3.2 to 4.6 and my min IPAP anywhere from 6.6 to 7.2 and my Max IPAP at 12-12.3.
And my AHI is higher than it should be -- which may be a result of these lower pressures.
What's the deal?

Re: Why the hell would you use a humidifier on your CPAP
You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. You are not, however, entitled to be rude. I use a humidifier because I don't like the nosebleeds I get from going without the humidifier. I use a humidifier to help keep my lungs clear when I'm dealing with a respiratory infection. I use a humidifier be...

Re: "Gurgling Sound" driving wife crazy
I have a Dreamstation Auto Bipap with a P10 nasal pillows mask. My wife tells me that while asleep there are gurgling noises coming from me ( or the bipap) She says it sounds like someone blowing on a straw immersed in water, making bubbles. It wakes her up. I have no idea what is causing it. I don...

Re: Suggest best replacement ASV
I got my first ASV a little before you got yours. I have used both the System One 960 and the newer Dream Station ASV. I like both, although I think I like the Dream Station better. I second Pugsy's comment of get the process going now. Most DMEs will not have a rental if yours craters, and you do N...

Re: RVs and CPAPs
Hi Kiralynx. I'm an RVer in a Newmar, too. Ah, which Newmar do you have? I see the choices for powering it up this way: 1) Use 110v - If you are at a RV campground and hooked to shore power, this is no big deal. If you are dry-camping, you'll want to turn the inverter on and pull power from the coa...

Re: RVs and CPAPs
I kept my cpap in the overhead cupboard in my motorhome. When it was time to move, I would just empty the humidifier and tie the doors on the cupboard shut...…. nothing ever fell out in travel  I did travel with a battery set up though..."just in case". Good luck and of course...…..HAPPY CAMP...

Re: RVs and CPAPs
I have a Berkshire 400 QL. Yes, there isn't much room on the stands beside the bed. BUT...there is room under the edge of the bed where it hangs over the support frame. I sit my cpap on the floor usually now. I did try putting it in one of the cabinets above the head board. This works quite well as...

Re: RVs and CPAPs
'couple things... 1) use the 12v power, not the inverter, it'll use a LOT less power out of your batteries. 2) If you're not using water in your humidifiers... you could do like someone else (can't remember who it was) that just velcro'd his machine to the wall of the bedroom.. out of the way, but ...

Re: RVs and CPAPs
I'm jealous. The online doco doesn't say much about the rv's electric so not much to say. Most of the electrics stuff applies generally to rv living and not to cpap so you folks will figure it out. Youtube is full of videos about rv living. Hope you 2 have a ball. Truth to tell, I'd rather NOT need...
