Mine did
My recently purchased Remstar did.
If you purchase a machine from CPAP.COM they will......if you get one from a local DME, they'll charge you extra for it. Hose prices at CPAP.COM will be about $11 - $12 and I've heard upwards of $60 at local DMEs. (in fact, that's what I was quoted from a local DME)

Re: Mine did
I will soon be getting a REMStar PRO 2 w/ C-Flex (hopefully) from Apria. What else should I expect (or possibly demand) to come with it. Hose, filters (extra filters) gaskets, fittings, etc. I will be getting the HH as well.Hoganflagle wrote:My recently purchased Remstar did.
Also if they bill the insurance seperately for each item, I'll ask for the spares that should have also come in the box. I just don't know what comes in the box. (Other than the Supplier setup manual that I'm sure they will remove.)
Thanks,
Craig

Check the cpap.com website to see what comes in the box.
In general you should get the CPAP machine with an installed filter, hose, spare filter, power cord, carrying bag, and instruction manual. If you get a F&P with integrated humidifier you will also get two water chambers, tiny funnel, and nifty slip-on connector.

Did your deductible start over again yesterday? If it did and depending on what your deductible is, you could probably come close to purchasing your whole "setup" out-of-pocket. The local DME is going to charge somewhere between 2 and 3 times what you can buy it for cash. If you have co-pays AND the deductible, you'll probably pay WAY more than you would out-of-pocket.Craig-Tx wrote:I will soon be getting a REMStar PRO 2 w/ C-Flex (hopefully) from Apria. Den,
I did the math, it was EASY. Yes, I'm with an HMO (CIGNA), and am thereby FORCED to use APRIA for my local DME. However, my particular policy covers DME at 100%. So I can't complain.
Even with all the hassels I've heard of, I will prefer to get my initial setup from a local provider. After I get my setup fairly stable and I get used to everything, I may see about billmyinsurance.com or other options for DME.
I will however watch the bill and make sure I get exactly what CIGNA pays for. I may not be paying for any of it directly, but it still hits my wallet eventually.
