One of the reasons that I pushed my healthcare provider for a sleep test is because I was finding that I was more and more tired all the time. I felt that OSA could be the cause. Today I was so tired that it seemed like I had to force myself to do everything I did! I've been sleepy too. Everything seems to be a major challenge. I hate to say anything to my mom as she worries so much. I do force myself to do what I have to do. I am afraid that it might get to the point where I can't do it regardless...
How long does it take to tell a difference? I knew that I wouldn't be getting a "miracle" but expected to feel better than this. If anything, I've been more exhausted today than even before I started the cpap. Is this usual?
I'm fixing to go to bed now. I'll continue with the cpap.
Thanks for everyone's encouragement!

Re: Extreme Fatigue
Incomprehensible posting!
have you been diagnosed with sleep apnea? what is your CPAP setting? how much leak you have? what is your AHI before and after starting CPAP? you don't have a profile to tell the story, and your posting is vague

Re: Extreme Fatigue
Janetlee, I understand why you sound sort of "out of it". That's so common with sleep apnea. It get's better, just learn all you can here and stick with the therapy. After a year I'm much, much better, but cpap isin't a cure and, in my opinion, can only treat and vastly improve the way you feel.

Before you go about attacking another poster, I suggest you click on their profile, and search their previous posts. janetlee happens to have 4 pages, 48 posts, which would give you insight on what she is going through.williamco wrote:Incomprehensible posting!

If anything is incomprehensible here, it is your response, williamco.
janetlee, if you click on the text called "User Control Panel" on the upper left, it will open a screen in which you can click on the "Profile" tag, and and add information about your equipment and its settings - doing that will add that information automatically to each and every post you make.
