DEVILBISS INTELLIPAP QUESTION

Hi Everyone, I just started using my Devilbiss Intellipap travel auto, which I purchased about 3 years ago but never really used until now. In order to change the pressure, the instructions say "With the machine powered but turned off, Hold down the DOWN and DELAY buttons together and then punch the...

Re: CPAP delayed success stories?

Patri, Not sure how long you've been on cpap, but for, I'd say, sometime between 5 and 6 months I had a terrible time with insomnia. I believe now that this is a typical response to newbies--it is probably the body's way of "freaking out" after getting good sleep and wanting to wake up soon. I don't...

I just got a brand-new Eson nasal mask (small) and tried it on for 5 minutes. It didn't fit. If you are interested in it, please PM me. It is $50 plus shipping. Thanks.

Re: Apnea duration question

I can see clearly on EncoreBasic how long each apnea lasted. Can you get EncoreBasic? Sounds like it'd be much easier to tell.

Re: Do you have a regular exercise program?

I so admire people who can exercise in gyms and home. I absolutely have to be outside. I have to feel the cool air. I am lucky in that there is a bike trail right near my house so I usually walk on that a good 3 miles or if I'm feeling especially lazy (most of the time), I get the bike and ride to a...

Re: 0% REM isn't a bad thing?

Instead of the prescription antidepressants, have you tried 5-HTP? Before I figured out I had sleep apnea and was getting progressively more depressed, I tried 5-HTP and it helped immensely and is a very natural supplement. I read that people on hardcore antidepressants actually found 5-HTP to be of...

Re: Does CPAP cause acid reflux?

Yet another reason to get that pressure low. That is exactly why I use an oral appliance with the cpap. It is a miracle cure in that regard.

Re: How to get rid of CPAP?

Yes! The law of Nature really is to survive in any way we can and if that includes cpap machine, artificial hearts and lung, bionic legs and arms, hearing aids or down filled parkas and mukluks so be it. We are natural beings and therefore anything we make can be called natural. And after all Natur...

Re: Low Vitamin D level appears to cause sleep apnea

I'd be afraid. Look at the first bad review that pops up on that link I gave. They said it's very easy to overdose. It would be embarrassing to die from Vitamin D overdose.
