Re: AveoTSD
FYI: Insurance (even Medicare) may cover surgery to correct a deviated septum.
Phobias over surgery/anesthesia are fairly common;
Even though I have gone under the knife many times,
I get general anesthesia in spite of my fear.
It has always been worth it.

Re: AveoTSD
Why are you going through life suffering from that? There are very good treatments. Have a consultation with an ENT.

Re: AveoTSD
New to the forum, hello. I alternate between full face CPAP and a tongue stabilizing device. I used good morning snore solutions for months but stopped after my gums started hurting. Using the aveo now whenever I have good nasal breathing. I have life long rhinitis and a deviated septum, so nasal br...

Re: Central apneas - Resmed S9 autoset
... Hi Pugsy, Thank you very much for a comprehensive supportive reply 😊 I don’t have the S9 Autoset anymore or the ASV version, I have been using a AveoTSD, nasal dilators, Spo2 monitor, pillow wedge and sleep position to reduce the nightly events. I do have silent reflux that does affect my breathing ...

Re: Large tongue is causing a problem. I’m so sleep deprived.
... TSD. See instructions on page 5 describing and showing it outside the lips. https://glidewelldental.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/dental-sleep-aveotsd-user-guide.pdf However, I tried it both ways and didn’t like either. I also had trouble keeping it on for for than a few minutes. I could usually ...

Re: AVEOtsd anti-snoring device
I'd really like to stop taping my mouth. It's not designed to be a mouth dam nor a device for preventing jaw drop. But, probably no harm in trying one - $2.09 shipping included - https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R ... e&_sacat=0 That's what I figure - no harm in trying. Thanks for the info on ...

Re: AVEOtsd anti-snoring device
I'm doing some de-cluttering and came upon this gizmo. I tried pretty much every anti-snoring device on the market before I discovered (duh) that I had sleep apnea and am now happily hooked up to a machine. This thing actually does kind of work. Before I toss it out, if anyone would like to try it,...

Re: AVEOtsd anti-snoring device
Before I toss it out, if anyone would like to try it, you can have it for the price of postage. Don't spend too much on postage. The generic versions are dirt cheap - as low as$2.09 shipping included - https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1311.R2.TR4.TRC0.A0.H0.Xtongue+r...

Re: AVEOtsd anti-snoring device
Actually, during the time I used it, my husband said it cut down the snoring significantly. This was before I knew I had sleep apnea, and I have no idea whether it had any effect on that. Just offering it up in case anyone had an interest in trying it.

Re: AVEOtsd anti-snoring device
Isn't that the doohickey that sucks on your tongue!
(((Speaking of hickeys . . . )))
The premise is that the tongue is what blocks the airway.
Guess what? WRONG!
But if somebody wants to try it . . . Go ahead--way cheaper than the original price.
