Full Face Masks and Headgear
Full Face Masks and Headgear
I am a 24 year cpap user and have used almost every mask there is. I have been using a Swift II Mirage Nasal Pillow mask for a long time, like 10 years or so. For some time, I have recirculated air resulting in severe dry mouth that would wake me up several times a night. I thought a full face mask might solve my problem, so I purchased two to see which one I like best. They did not help and I really didn't like either one because my exhaled hot breath made my nose and face warm. So I decided to use my Ruby Red chin strap with my Swift II and low and behold, my problem has been solved!
I used both the masks for only a couple of weeks, so they're both almost brand new.
One is a ResMed Air Fit 20 and the other a Fisher Paykel Simplus. Both are large size. I am a non-smoker and I don't have the mange, TB, measles or any other communicable disease.
It seems a shame for these to hang in the closet, so if any of you are interested in either of these masks, just pay the postage. Contact me at oldsnipe343@gmail.com. First come first served.

There's a thread called "The Great Pillow Exchange" that people use to offer & search for masks. I don't know how to put a link to it so I'll bump it up so you can see it. If you post it there, people will be more likely to find your post.
PS - glad your problem is solved!

Re: Full Face Masks and Headgear
I just put up a thread called paying it forward. Since I have parts that are not all the pillows or cushions and they are mostly not sealed and I don't want a trade just to as I said pay it forward. I thought that maybe a thread for pay it forward might be useful.zonker wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 11:13 amthe thread of which chris speaks-

Re: Full Face Masks and Headgear
Give me a bit and I will add to the list.
I got some inventory I need to move.
The donations box is stuffed with bits and pieces of stuff.
I got some other stuff to do right now but will try to make a list later today....so folks interested...check back later.
I don't do the great exchange thread often...newbies might not know about it for one thing or they think swap only or something like that and it is a mile long for another thing.
I like to list it in a thread like this and as each item gets spoken for I just edit the list.
Much easier for everyone including me...

Re: Full Face Masks and Headgear
I know you've been using PAP for a long time and may not need it, but I do like to have a FF mask around for when I have a bad cold and snuffy, sneezy nose. The only way I can sleep is with CPAP and the only way I can breathe when I have a cold is through my mouth, so having a FF mask on hand is a godsend when I need it. Even if it leaks a lot, it's better than no mask.
