CMS-50F Wrist Oximeter for $120 US

Post by STL Mark » Sun Jun 13, 2010 7:27 am

For those comfortable with ebay thought I would point out this auction from Hong Kong. Seller seems to have great reviews. At apx $120 US it seems like a great deal.

I'm ordering one.

I was looking at these but couldn't decide whether to save $30 AUD and get the "all-in-one-finger" unit (50E?)
I have monstrously large hands so I am worried about them fitting.

Hi jishy, Email them for a max dimension estimate. Also offer them 75% of the asking price and then haggle if needs be - looks like a good price. I have the just-on-the-finger model and I tape it on to keep it secure. All the best,

I found the censor rather uncomfortable .
I’ve removed the entire ridge section on the right side (away from the wire), and about ¼ of the top section, again being careful of the wire, and then taped it back together with 40 mm medical tape to the desired size.
I now wear it on one of my toes with a light sock for protection and get excellent results

I'm wondering (a bit OT) if there's one that links up to the S9. After all, there's functionality in the ResScan software.

Anyone?

For those curious how things worked out. I received my CMS 50F today from the auction out of Hong Kong. Nicly retail packaged (all writing and documentation in english). Supplied with adapter that worked with our electric system. Cardboard box contained metal box with all parts. At $120 US it seems to be a great value. Noticed the same seller has a new auction running for these also.

It arrived much quicker than I thought it would, I selected the free shipping option and it mentioned it may take 10 - 20 business days to arrive which could have been as late as July 15th. I did select the $2 insurance option. YMMV

There is an oximeter and associated parts that is made for the S9. The total kit runs around $1,000 US if your "lucky enough" to find the required parts. Three different parts/kits need to be ordered.
