Re: Year end DME incompetence?
My husband and I have found some duds along the way and have finally found a keeper. We found one who keeps the patients' best interests in mind and they are knowledgable. We are in McDonough, GA. If anyone lives close and wants the name, just PM me.

Re: Numbers Questions
Thanks, but there is no SD card in the machine, I called my DME and ask about a card after I took the machine back for them to remove the Monitor , and they said that I needed a Rx to get one. so I thought I would wait until I saw the Dr. Thanks for the reply You don't need a script for an SD card....

My hubby and I have climate lines. We love them. No rain out. Very comfortable. We think it is worth it.

Isn't it amazing you can pay your insurance premiums and yet have no benefit to replace an 11 yr old machine?

As for data....I have no idea how to get any of it.....not even certain there's a card in my machine?? Can anyone give me some tips on that? Kim, In addition to the data on the card, there is data on your screen. In the morning or before noon, hit the round button to the right of the screen one tim...

Re: can aerophagia last all day, into late evening?
Don't stop CPAP to see if symptoms abate. The way you are describing the symptoms, I would agree with the doctor you may have GERD. The symptoms sound less like aerophagia. See the gastroenterologist.

Re: I hate this
Kim, I understand your discouragement, but you have to use your cpap every night in order to deal with the obstacles. Without consistency you can't identify real problems that need a solution. Some adjustment is to be expected, but you can't adjust if you don't use. You should be able to put your fi...

Re: S9 Autoset prescription - example?
My husband and I asked our doctor to write Autopap pressure 5-20 with humidifier, mask of patient choice, filters and tubing. His script or order says good for 99 years which means for lifetime. He was fine with this. We adjusted our pressure ranges ourselves with the help of members here. He is fin...

Re: Ouchie
Not sure what I am going to do - Went to what I thought was a consult with a plastic surgeon, walked out with stiches in the back of my head (cyst removed) and stitches in my cheek (more removal). I am not sure that my nasal mask is going to work with the stitches and I didn't have time to call my ...

I agree with everyone here. Trying a hybrid mask or nasal pillows will allow you to wear your glasses and read or watch TV before you fall asleep.

Re: Started out strong……..Novelty is wearing off
I do not want to lose hope and start not using the CPAP. Any suggestions to keep motivated or techniques to use to make sure I stay on-track? I think we all have these little hiccups from time to time. You can be rockin' along just fine and then have some new obstacle pop up unexpectedly. I am havi...

Re: Adjusted on my own..
You can adjust your settings and you can request the machine you want. If you get a tongue lashing, find a new doctor. Please read Janknitz blog "Everything you need to know before meeeting with your DME." There is so much valuable info in there you need to know.

Re: Need software guru help with ResScan
Make sure your sd card isn't locked and wipe the contact and try again.
If that doesn't work, maybe try uninstall and reinstall of ResScan? Save your data files already downloaded to your computer.
