I really like mine which should be in my signature. It's a Zest nasal mask. I couldn't do pillows because of my high pressure and full face wasn't for me.

I had afib and while hospitalized they said I had very low oxygen while sleeping and to get checked asap. My husband had told me before that I stopped breathing sometimes, but I shrugged it off until I got sick. I believe my osa caused my afib.

Let me clarify. These are new headgear that I'm talking about. Where they hook into the top of the mask, they come half loose every time I take it off and I have to rehook it before putting it back on. I did not have that happen before with previous headgear even when it was old and stretched out.

I know I take my mask off wrong, as I just pull it over my head, but the straps that hook into the mask didn't use to come loose so easily. They come lose every time I take it off. I wonder if they are making it smaller? Any ideas?

My mask stays on just fine.

My bipap is set at 24. I don't know how high it can go.

I have had this problem a couple times and I sprayed the mask with lavendar spray.

The actual procedure is anti-climatic. I don't know why people make such a fuss over it. I have always thought that people make a fuss because they are afraid of the diagnosis. Why are you renting instead of buying? If you purchased, you'd pay your deductible and the 20% coinsurance and then you'd be done paying for it.

Try Biotene mouthwash. A friend of mine puts a moist washcloth inside her mask.

I think any kind of illness can affect it. I've been having extreme leg pain and my AHI has not been good. I think it's from all the tossing and turning to get comfortable.
