How often do you change the four foot hose that goes
from the machine to the mask

My insurance will pay for one every 3 months, so I got one after 3 months so I have a spare, but probably won't replace mine but yearly like LSAT says, unless the rubber thingies on the ends get stretched or the hose cracks before then.

I get a hose from my Sleep Clinic once every 6 months covered by insurance, but I change it over when it splits or leaks and that's about once a year.

I've been using mine for 3 years without a problem.

I got about 4 months out of the white Respronics hose that came with my machine. It still works, but looked like it was ready to split at any moment. The grey Respronics replacement (Same part #, go figure) is much sturdier. My insurance covers one every 3 months.

When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI

I started with my first hose in May last year. It cracked in November. The duct tape wore out last week, so I decided it was time to replace it, rather than add more duct tape.

Providing you don't damage the hose, you can go 6-12 months. I change mine out every 6 months. If I was using a humidifier on a regular basis, I would probably change it every 3 months.
