Respironics humidifier heating element

Post by double bogey » Mon Oct 17, 2011 2:32 pm

Does anyone know of a place to buy a heating element for my m series humidifier? I hate to have to replace the humidifier when just the element has failed.

I did a Google search for parts and did not come up with any heating elements. I did not try every link so you may do better. Is the machine still under warranty? If not, perhaps the DME would order you an element if they're available. I have a feeling you're going to have to replace the humidifier.

I did not find any either, but a search led me here. My machine is 4.5 years old (1667 sessions). Found the heating element bad, thought I could replace it. Found a replacement humidifier at cpap.com, for $140.00. But being the cheap guy I am, I wanted to fix this one.

Go for the new one--it's worth it.
Sometimes tight-waddery can hurt you.
Tinker with something else.

Get an HC 150 so next month when the cpap goes you won't feel so bad.

Try liz84010@yahoo.com. They fix Cpap equipment.

Also, try Secondwind.com, they may have it used.
