shape-shifting alien?

Post by fuzzy96 » Sun Oct 02, 2011 1:07 pm

ok folks just curious. ive noticed that when i lay down with my quattro fx i have a good seal. after about 4 hours i'm awaken by what sounds like a penguin with gas. but its just the mask making noises. no matter what i do i cannot get a good seal without getting out the chain binders and ratchet straps. so is my face changing that much or is the alien inplant acting up again? fuzzy

Is your face sweating under the masK? It sounds like either oils or something is interfering with the seal.
Have you tried a mask liner like from PadACheek? http://www.padacheek.com/PAC_Maskliners.html
There will be better suggestions I am sure, but Good Luck!

With the Quattro it is very important to clean all the oils off of your face...particularly the nose. Also excessive humidity will cause "farts". If you continue to have leak problems check out the anti-leak strap from Padacheek.com

If you haven't seen this active thread, it has some good suggestions as well, especially the last one by Chunkyfrog.
