DENVER AREA forum meetup 09/24

Post by ameriken » Mon Sep 12, 2011 12:28 pm

HELLO COLORADO!

What: This is our first apnea meeting for the Denver Metro area.

When: Saturday September 24, 10 AM

Where: Starbucks by 104th Ave and Federal Blvd. 10399 Federal Blvd #100. (#2 on the below map)

It is in the King Soopers strip mall just south of 104th, on the west side of Federal. Once you are in the parking lot, the Starbucks is near the Wendys.

Who: All forum members are invited, and that means you!

So far we have myself, Starlette, and Carbonman. I reserved a table so if you let me know in this thread that you can attend, I can update Starbucks managementas to how many we expect.

This may or may not be a permanent location depending on where everyone comes from.

Bring your questions, bring your answers, bring your problems, bring your solutions, just be sure to bring YOU!

We look forward to meeting you and each other.

Post an update afterwards. i think there are other clusters of users who'd like to meet in their areas.

It was seeing the Atlanta post that was the inspiration for this

Можно ли тут размещать ссылки на сайты с подборками софта?
не запрещенно ли это правилами?

если ты против - удали это сообщение

I've got it on my calendar, but my schedule changes from week to week. I'll make every attempt to be there. Tara

Thanks Tara, we surely hope you can make it.

Also, for anyone else reading, this is an open meeting for anyone, not just members of cpaptalk.com. In fact,

*if you are not a member of cpaptalk.com,
*if you are brand new to sleep apnea and maybe have a sleep test coming up or just had one,
*if you are new to cpap,
*or someone who is not sure if you even have sleep apnea or not

...and you have questions or concerns and would like to meet other people who've got sleep apnea and have been through the testing and therapy, you are invited as well. This is just an informal sit-down to share ideas and help each other out over a cup of coffee.

If you would like join us, please let us know in this thread. We sincerely hope to see you there!

Not sure if you'd be interested in having a manufacturer representative present, but I am right down the road from this Starbucks. Unfortunately, I will be out of town for this meeting but would be happy to attend a future meeting if the group is interested.

I'm not sure either, this is our first meeting and I have no idea where it will go from here. However, assuming the group grows, it may be a good idea to have one present. What would be the benefit to the group of having a specific manufacturer attend?

I would think a company rep, especially one who has been as helpful as DM has been on this forum, would be a welcome addition to your group. Certainly, having someone who can explain some of the more technical aspects of what goes into the research and development of these machines we depend upon would be very interesting. She is a great asset to us DeVilbiss users here, but I am sure her knowledge of the industry, how algorithms vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and her overall understanding of the struggles cpapers have could be valuable to some of your group members.

Hope your group works out well......
