Happy "hose head" tomorrow

Post by LilBuckaroo » Sun Jan 02, 2005 5:39 pm

Hey folls,

By tomorrow at this time, I should be a "happy hose head".

Going to the DME in the morning to get my CPAP equipment Can hardly wait to embark on this mission.

I know that the doc prescribed a CPAP w/humidifier and a full face mask.
I talked to the DME the other day and asked about their machines. He told me that they have a ResMed S7 LightWeight and I believe the other one is a Responics (can't remember the model number of that one.)
He said that he prefers the ResMed, and since I used a ResMed at my sleep study, I think I will go with that one.

I don't ecpect this to be a "cake walk" at the beginning, but I am enough of a "hard head" to allow this beat to me. Have turned away from few obstacles in my limetime

Might post again tomorrow with the details of the equipment. Will definitely try to post on Tuesday with the details of my first night "on the mask".

Until later, take care and good sleep to everyone.

Got my machine and mask yesterday. It's a ResMed S7 Lightweight w/ResMed Humidaire 2i heated humidifier and a ResMed UltraMirage Full Face Mask. Used it last nite. Best sleep that I've had in a good while!!! The truth will surface this afternoon when I find out if I'm sleepy, and tonite when I really sleep. Time will tell!!!

For right now, I'm a "happy camper"!!

Thanks to all for your encouragement!!!

Does this mean that I can wear my mask "proudly"?

Regardless, I'm going to wear it anyway. Possibly this afternoon!!

Last nite was a good sleep, but am still sleepy. I got this thing, and I'm going to use it!!!

I know that there is no over night fix for this condition!!

Probably have a "sleep deficit" built up!!

Thsnks again.

p.s. restless gal, we did all we could have done last night. Will have to see what those idiot pollsters are going to do
