Sorry for being so difficult.
Not a problem at all. Thanks for trying. I had to look through the listing several times to find it myself, even though I knew it was there, because I'd seen it on people's listings.

The entry says "S9 Elite CPAP machine with EPR."

Well, one more request. Go back and change your choice of pictures to text for your equipment. All S9s look alike meaning to really know which PAP you have we have to click on the picture, wait for it to load ... its a PITA. I have slow speed dial up so I don't even bother if the equipment isn't in text.

Done!

Had a loud swishing noise again. Turned the machine off and then on again, and then it was fine. Thinking I'm knocking the nose thingie off, which is making the loud noise. Have I mentioned I don't like having to use this thing? Blah! Soooo annoying and not the least bit sexy!

When I first started therapy a little over 2 years ago I kept reading people saying they "love their mask".
I though "HUH" ??? Love their machine... Double Huh..

You know, even now, I don't like masking up. If I was going to love a mask I suppose it would be this one because it is as close to nothing on my face as I can get. Do I love this whole setup? Heck no. I hate it. But I grudgingly put it on every night. It is part of my life just like brushing my teeth. I may accept it and be 100% compliant but I don't have to like it.
I would rather not use it but untreated OSA scares the hell out of me. I just know that with my luck I would have the stroke that comes up short leaving me a helpless shell.

So you don't really have to like using this thing.. but you do have to use it anyway. With time it does get less annoying.
I will give it that much.

People say that they love their mask??? Haven't heard that one yet. I think I'll stay far away from those people... they must have much more wrong than severe apnea.

Considering that I've only been using it three weeks... I have to give myself a pat on the back for being compliant. I have taken it off to go to the bathroom or to adjust it, but I put it right back on.

Hard to wrap my head around the fact that I'll be using this thing for the rest of my life. I feel sure that 50 years ago people had no idea what sleep apnea was, and got along just fine.

I keep thinking that any moment someone is going to call and tell me this has been a mistake. Until then, on goes the mask. As you said P, I don't have to like it, but I do have to use it. Blah again!

Okay, you said the card was read and everything was okay...does this mean that it showed that you are using your machine every night? But how do you feel after three weeks of use...are you more rested? do you fall into a deep REM sleep? do you wake up rested and feel more rested and alert throughout the day? do you wake up with a "sahara" mouth or is your mouth moist? numbers are very important to ensure that you are getting the air into your air passages with the right amount of pressure....but what have your results been so far?

Do they have male and female masks now? Never heard of it. I am truly alarmed!
