Help needed in Albany, NY, Please!

Post by welki » Sun Nov 20, 2016 7:45 am

Long time member, but a non-poster here.

We traveled from Calgary, AB to Albany, NY yesterday for Thanksgiving and I messed up (bad). Had such a bad trip; finally made it to our hotel at 3:30 am, or I would have posted sooner.

Packed my machine and that's fine, but also packed my husband's machine and forgot the L-shaped connector for his Mirage FX mask. We've both been CPAP users for a long time and can't sleep, shouldn't sleep, without them.

If anyone is in the Albany area and happens to have an extra connector, or even a complete Mirage FX for a man, could you please give me a shout? I know it's not typically protocol to hand out one's phone number, but I'm pretty desperate. 403-660-1549. We will be leaving Albany later today and heading to Vermont.

Thank you so much!!

This one in Albany says it has a mirage fx mask, no phone number, just generic craigslist email...

Thank you for your replies, and thank you especially to the gentleman who called from Florida and left voicemail. Indeed, I am now in Bennington and will go to Keene Supply tomorrow!!

Permanent Packing list for CPAP

Post by D.H. » Sun Nov 20, 2016 4:26 pm

I've mentioned this before, but it's super important!

Please make a permanent CPAP packing list keep it in the carrying case that came with the machine. This will prevent this kind of mishap. Also, in case you should take ill and somebody else has to pack your CPAP for the hospital, that person won't miss any component.
