Re: CPAP Pillows
The Subokawa looks interesting. I might give it a shot if it works well for a side sleeper with nasal pillows. I'm using the Contour Cpap Multi-Mask Sleep Aid Pillow that goes for $40-50. It has corners cutouts. Works fine for me and I have zero problems with it but I'm always on the prowl for some...

Re: Mirage Quattro high pressure seal life?
Started to get leaks, and itching face where the mask was touching my face. I boiled the silicone part of the mask yesterday, and it improved the leaking - none during the night. Had a good night sleep. I put a little baking soda in the boiling water also, it helped.

Re: Cleaning your equipment
I clean my full face mask with regular unscented baby wipes, works great. The humidifier tank get filled with distiller water on a daily basis. The humidifier tank is enclosed , filtered air flow in and out , so it is in a fairly safe environment . I monitor it on a daily schedule, but have not seen...

Re: Suggestions for a newbie buying a mask?
Be open to try a full face mask, if you think you may breath thru your mouth. Check out the equipment that I use, just had my first month check with my sleep Doctor & got an " A+ " on usage and all counts.

Re: Kept the cats out
Have got five cats, three males, and two females -all fixed. No problem with them bothering any of my CPAP equipment. One or two of them sleep in bed with us, but don't stay the full night. Don't close the bedroom door either.

CPAP Cleanliness
How often do you clean, wipe down your equipment? Is a daily wipe down good enough or more/ less? With my equipment, I get a little condensation on the humidifier tank, but none in the climate control tube. The air filter doesn't show any dirt or dust yet. I started on 30 Oct 2012, with current equi...

Re: Troubleshooting with an H5i humidifier
Have the same type of equipment, so far no problems yet. I hold the on/off switch until I see everything power off. I would try to either get a new SD card or try taking it out and then reinserting it.

Re: So confused - which machines are good?
So far, being a newbie, I have been happy with what was recommended for me by the Doctor and the DME(?). Have not had any problems with the ResMed S9 Elite or the H5i humidifier with the climate hose. I am sleeping better, and not as tired during the day. It took a little while to get use to the ful...

Re: Contour Pillows
I am a side sleeper, and since I have got one of these it has really helped with sleeping. I have a full face mask, and ResMed S9 Elite with a humidifier -pressure of 10, temp of input air 65' and a climate hose. Would recommend the pillow , here in Austin Tx, Bed Bath & beyond has it for around $60...

ITCHING UNDER MASK
After I put my mask on for the night , I will get a itch either under the mask or around the outside of the mask. Is there something that I can do to lesson the urge to scratch the itch. At times it is hard to ignore, and drives me nuts until I scratch it. Either cleaning the mask, cleaning my face...

Re: ResMed S9 Humidifier Clicking Noise (h5i)
Have a ResMed Elite S9 with the H5i humidifier about two weeks and the climate tube . Have not noticed any clicking noise at all, unit is on bedside table. Could something be loose in the tubing or a piece of debit got in. Have a FFM and noticed a clicking noise when the unit is not all the way on, ...
