Re: I think I am going to die
Keep on trying, your body will get use to the mask. I have the same equipment, with the exception of a full face mask. The EPR on my machine is turned off. Work with your Doctor and your DME to make sure you have the correct equipment that you feel comfortable with & that fits. I have had my equipme...

Re: SD card says no data
Dumb question, Is the lock set on the SD card, this could cause a no data reading if the card is locked and the machine can't write the data to the card. It something to check.

Re: latest results
Have you tried a full face mask, instead of the pillows? Could you be a mouth breather, and this is causing your leak readings?

Re: Visit with sleep doc now some questions for forum
I have the same equipment, with the exception of a full face mask. Have been on the CPAP machine since the end of October 2012 . It took some getting use to, especially the mask. I am sleeping much better, and hardly take any more afternoon nap( which I miss). My pressure was set at eleven, and my A...

Re: Help how do you avoid rain out when in a warmer climate?
Can you vary the temperature of the air coming into the tube? Maybe lowering this might help. Would a climate control hose work better in controlling the humidity within the hose?

Re: Humidifier question - Do you need to use distilled water or
One gallon of distiller water lasted 24 days in my humidifier. I figured I am using about 150 ml per day.

SD Card Size
How do you tell how much data can be put on a SD card? Have a S9 Res-Med Elite that came with a SD card supplied.
Should I get a backup SD card, and what size?

Re: Some one was asking about baby wipes...
I use the unscented baby wipe that Walgreen has at around $2.50 or less for a supply of 72. They do have Aloe, but I have been using them since the end of October 2012 without any problem. Is there a problem with a product that contains Aloe?

Re: Has anyone cleaned thier mask in the dishwasher
I use unscented baby wipes to wipe down the mask on a daily basis, and I boil the silicone part of the mask with a little baking soda monthly. Have not used the dishwasher to do any mask cleaning yet, because I don't know how hot the water gets during the wash/rinse cycles. This might be a concern.

Re: ResMed S9 data logging question?
I am thinking the machine is going to mix the data since it has a internal disk drive that the data is recorded onto. I have not heard of any machine that can keep two different users data separate. Two machines for two people. Removing the SD card will not make any difference in either way. Note : ...

You might check the ResMed line of equipment, I can barely hear this machine & it is on my bedside table. Check my equipment at the bottom of this posting.

Re: face itching under mask
Ditto - I have the same type of itching, different spots under my FF mask. Will try the Q-Tips tonight to see if that helps. My humidifier uses about 150 ml of distiller water a day, I refill it on a daily basis. I drink plenty of water daily, but limit the amount of water before going to bed, since...

Maybe you have the wrong size mask, check to see if you need a larger mask.
