Re: Need help picking a new machine!

Sorry for typos, on my smartphone. I'll check spelling before sending now. He lives in an extremely dry climate part of the year, so a humidifier that runs out of water is no good. I still want him to have a heated hose for when he is in a very humid ocean climate part of the year. Given all this, w...

Re: Nose issues with mask

Washing and keeping the pores free from excess oil is a good thing. Also, use a cleanser that leaves as little residue as possible. For example, I wouldn't suggest using a cleansing cream with moisturizers, which are made to leave a coating on the skin. You do clean the mask parts that contact your ...

Need help picking a new machine!

I love my S9 Elite™ CPAP Machine with EPR™ so much I bought an extra, and it looks like the machine is no longer sold at CPAP.com, so I'm glad I did. However, I am helping a friend, new to apnea devices place an entire order on CPAP.com and don't know which machine I should choose. I want It to allo...

Re: New Mask from Philips Respironics

When you say you wake up not being able to breath, is it because the part of the nasal mask, the part of it without the slit, is covering your (nares) nose? If so, are the straps tightened to encourage the nasal mask to be centered under your nose? Versus one side being tighter than the other, there...

Re: Windows 10 and ResScan v 4.2.08.5438

Check your PM box. All you have to do install the new version...it will overwrite the old version but won't hurt your old data. Everything will be where it always is. No need to do any exporting of anything. The install will do all the work for you. Won't take 15 minutes from download to finish the...

Re: Windows 10 and ResScan v 4.2.08.5438

Windows 10 and ResScan v 4.2.08.5438

Hi all:

It's time to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and I wondered if I would be able to run my current ResScan software on it. Has anybody successfully loaded ResScan 4.2 xxx on a Windows 10 machine?

Thanks in advance.

Re: DreamWear Mask

Oh! Lamagolfer you're first night! I too hope it goes well. For me, this mask fits looser than any other mask I've worn, to seal properly and be comfortable. For the final adjustment, I just put the DreamWear on, get into my sleep position, breath to start the air flowing, and lift the nasal part of...

Re: DreamWear Mask

Good point! And after giving it some thought, if the machine was made where different mask type settings did produce distinctive measurable difference, then the actual data would be more complex.

Re: DreamWear Mask

The Respironics site says this is a nasal pillows mask. I chose the nasal pillows setting on my ResMed S9 auto.

Re: DreamWear Mask

I just got this mask in the mail today. I hope I have the same luck as you do! I have a question about the settings on my Resmed Airsense 10. In the settings section for mask type should I use Nasal or Nasal Pillow for the DreamWear? does it enclose your nose? (nasal) or rest on the nostrils (nasal...
