In the five nights since I started using xPAP, I've had no "bad" dreams that I remember, only "good" ones. This has been a welcome change.
Prior to xPAP, it seems like all the dreams I remembered ended in crisis with me struggling to move, and requiring all my strength to just barely walk uphill for instance. All my dreams seemed to have this continual pattern of needing to break free from some crisis. At times I'd even be aware while sleeping that I was having a dream and it was important to wake up.
Am I the only one? I haven't seen anyone post about similar dream experiences. Surely, I'm not the only one who's gone through this.

Bill,
NOOOOO.....you're not the only one. Not by a long shot.
From what I've read (and I'm not a doctor), this is referred to as "REM rebound". You're getting better sleep and your brain is getting more oxygen.
Most of us seem to experience it......more dreaming and usually better ones than what we experienced before we got "on the hose".
Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

When I use the CPAP
When I actually use my cpap, I actually dream. I don't remember dreaming before. My sleep apnea is mild, but hey at least I am getting treated now after 6 years. It used to be worse than now, that is weird. I am still just as heavyset.
Sweet dreams
