Recommendations welcomed on Gel Masks

Even after 8 years of CPAP treatment, I am still having difficulty giving myself good treatment. I tend to wake up after an hour or two and then go back to sleep without putting the mask back on again. I find the mask uncomfortable. Today I saw a new doctor who suggested I try a gel mask. Anyone hav...

Keeping distilled water in the fridge

About a year ago, I came down with a severe attack of pneumonia (paramedic ride to hospital when I couldn't get up from the floor) and after that a nurse advised me to keep my distilled water in a fridge to prevent bugs from growing. So I did that. This may be because I have been blessed with a kidn...

Yes, the PR 60 System https://www.cpap.com/cpap-machine/pr-system-one-60-series-auto-cpap-heated-tube.html is here and I love it. It is SO QUIET I (and my partner) love it. I can hardly hear it running. And the heated hose is warm and no rain outs since I started using it. One of the things I overlo...

Re: What is the best Auto CPAP machine,......... I MADE A CHOICE

Well I made a choice, its the PR System One series 60 https://www.cpap.com/cpap-machine/pr-system-one-60-series-auto-cpap-heated-tube.html . I was beginning to make a detailed comparison when I had a rain out and my bed partner started snarling at me. So the heated hose suddenly became very attracti...

Re: Does Medicare pay for repairs to 4yr old machines ?

My rear is overly covered. A couple of days ago I had five machines in my possession!!!!. I have turned the loaner back to the DME and am offering a Remstar plus for sale on Craigslist Santa Barbara which will leave me with three. I am considering forming CPAP Machine Anonymous for those of us who h...

Re: Does Medicare pay for repairs to 4yr old machines ?

When I pointed out Crayongirls recommendations to my DME , they accepted rfesponsibility for it and paid for the repairs . I am guessing they charged Medicare. So now my machine is repaired and happily humming away next to my bed.
Thanks Crayongirl

Re: Play MASK ROULETTE. Give a mask, get a mask, win a mask?

As a result of buying used machines, I have accumulated about ten different used masks of different shapes and sizes from other users. I am not sure whether to throw them away , try to sell them or give them away. All I know is I want to do it in a fashion that I enjoy and is easy for me to do. The ...
