Oximeter capabilities of the S9

I'm curious to know what options there are to capture nightly oximetry data and feed that into ResScan software. I saw the SleepTV video and everything they mentioned appeared to cost about 1k. What hardware/software options are available and is it silly to even consider integration into ResScan software important? Do you need a script to even get the stuff? I have no real health reasons at this time that make this information important, I'm just curious to know if having this information over time for health trending isn't a bad thing. Thoughts?
