Like to hear about your dreaming on the machine

Post by Twentysix » Sun Apr 03, 2011 5:52 pm

Hi guys,

I had really bad nightmares my whole life, often so scary that I still remember some of them from childhood. In retrospective I think these nightmares were do to the choking during REM sleep. Anyway, as soon as I started sleeping with my APAP in September last year, the nightmares were gone. I never woke up all stressed out and vividly remembering the dream I just woke from. I actually did not remember having ANY dreams since then. But the last 2 months or so I do remember in the morning that I have been dreaming. Nothing scary, for the first time 'normal' dreams (although dreaming you can finally reach that weird yoga pose may be not THAT normal, ). My AHI's are fine, mostly under 1, sometimes 1.5 or something. So I wondered if it means anything? Am I sleeping better or worse if I'm having dreams? Any experiences?

Sounds like you're doing just fine. Lots of people have reported what you have, with regard to dreams. Enjoy them.
