Ping.. Lazy SleepyHead Programmer is still alive.

Post by jedimark » Mon Jul 23, 2012 6:32 am

Hi Guys & Gals.

I need some more PRS1 '60 series data, and F&P Icon data to finish off some stuff for the next SleepyHead update. Please PM me if you can help.

It's been a heck of a long time since the last update.. I know a lot of you have been putting up with some very crummy bugs in SleepyHead.

My laziness is not intentional. Life (and something that rhymes starting with w) just hit me with something I wasn't remotely prepared to deal with, and I haven't been able to concentrate clearly since.

I very much enjoy working on SleepyHead, and am not giving up. Just family stuff has had to take a higher priority.

Thanks very much for all the encouragement I've received from this wonderful online community.. It very much helps me keep going!

I hope I can get my brain in high gear and deliver an update soon that addresses the multitudes of bugs/new machine support/etc..

/Mark

First I'd like to say a big THANK YOU for all you've done so far!

I should have my new PRS1 60 in two weeks ... I'd be happy to send data them if you still need it, I'll check back here.

Not into the face book type of stuff so I can't give you a 1+ there since not registered but I will give you more than one of them right here so every one can see. Times like this are one of the few times that I wished this forum had "like" buttons. Mostly I don't go for them but sometimes....they would come in handy.

We do care about you. You know that. Let me know if I can help in some way. Sorry no PR 60 series machine though.

G'day Mark,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues at home. I hope you find solutions to them, hang in there!
I also wanted to say thank you for developing SleepyHead for us all, sorry but I don't have PRS1 '60 series or F&P.
Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Will be just south of you on the GC soonish.
Sorry not on Google + ...
All the best!

Can't help with the data, but want to say that the "very crummy bugs" in Sleepyhead are at the most a minor inconvenience. The program is fabulous and has made a huge difference to my understanding and wellbeing. Hope your problems are sorted out soon.

Mark, no apologies bro. Your doing your fellow man a huge service.

I for one have learned more and can manage my illness better thanks to your software.

Blessings on you and your house, and all the fruits of your labor.

A few people have mentioned Sleepyhead bugs, but after using it 3 months, I can say with unqualified appreciation that it's one of the best free software programs I've ever used. Also, I haven't found one bug yet... I get pretty deep in all its features, so I'm not just a casual user. Thanks, Jedimark and please take time to heal your family.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Jedimark,

First and foremost: A HUGE THANK YOU for your work on SleepyHead. It's much appreciated. I hope (and expect) that you'll get the data you need for finishing off the System 60 stuff and the F&P Icon stuff. And I say that as one of the folks who gave you my System One (series 50) BiPaP data back in the early days of this project.

Second, I sincerely hope that things in your personal life soon start to sort themselves out for the best. Take care of yourself FIRST!

Robysue

Mark,

I'm sorry for your difficulties. I can't help in any physical ways, but I promise to add you to my daily prayers. You have made a difference in my life and the lives of others who use your software. I'm new to CPAP and your program made it possible for me to get a handle on my apnea and get the right machine with the correct settings far quicker than I could have any other way!

You are a blessing to many!

Thanks!

Mike
