Before you give on using the machine, you do realize there are several mask option to chose from right if one mask isn't comfortable? Why don't use the link in my signature to post your equipment profile so members can help you get your therapy optimized? I am better about it now but because I couldn't stand plastic touching my face, I went with an elan cloth mask listed in my equipment profile. That could be an option for you.

It is always tough initially but for many folks, things improve greatly. Stick around and let us help you.

If you give up on using the machine, you're still going to need treatment. While I am definitely not against other options, the odds of success aren't as great with pap therapy.

Finally, you might want to list all the problems you are having besides not tolerating the mask touching your face. The more detailed you can be, the better.

Are you sure you actually own it? Or is the insurance company going to ask for it back with that level of compliance?

Aside from the valid points above that (1) there are ways to get used to using it and (2) the asking price is ridiculous.

Did you buy it out of pocket? If it is through insurance they may ask for the machine back.
Insurance companies are tired of buying machines and people not using them and selling them for the money.
They maybe a lot smarter then you think they are.
