Re: first night with zeo
The ZEO data's sleep stage information is as follows; 4 - Deep Sleep 3- Light Sleep 2 - REM Sleep 1 - Awake 0 - Unknown (usually means no signal) SleepyHead will look upside down compared to the Zeo website but the data should be close to what you see on the Zeo web site. There may be some differenc...

Re: Zeo owners, what mask are you using?
I've been able to use the ResMed Mirage Soft-Gel with my Zeo and have had very good results.
I initially modified the forehead rest to sit on the Zeo headband but found that the Zeo Headband is good to sit just above the forehead rest so I reverted back to a stock mask with no modifications.

Re: Using the ResScan or Sleeyhead software
I've allowed the Mac to write its hidden file to the SD card and both the machine and ResScan seem to ignore it. This file seems to only get written if you open the SD card using the file manager GUI. It is always a good idea to slide the write protect though, just need to slide it back before puttin...

Re: Continuation of Zeo Conversation
I just sent you, via email, 2 weeks worth of Zeo data with the plots from their web interface so you can correlate them. Form what I've seen so far the Zeo shows I don't get much deep sleep and its more fragmented than it should be. My next step is to overlay the Zeo sleep stages with my xPAP data a...

Re: Continuation of Zeo Conversation
Yes, correlating the Zeo data with the respiratory information should help to determine the sleep stage. Looking at the mask pressure and respiratory rate gives me a very good indication of whether I was awake or not. Including oximetery information would help as well. I do wish the Zeo headband inc...

Re: Question about zeo
I have a Zeo but I'm can't figure out how to wear it with my nasal mask. Any one figured this out yet? (Where your suppose to place it is right under the forehead brace on my headgear) I'm using the Soft-Gel Nasal mask and found that if I remove the rubber pad from the upper part of the mask (the o...

1 year update
Its been a while since I last checked in and just passed my 1 year on xPAP so I wanted to update all those on the forum that helped me get as far as I did. I have not forgotten you all but rather have been kept very busy at work now that I have the energy and clear thinking. I have found that my apn...

Re: Decrypt your Zeo Bedside Data
At this time the mobile version provides no access to the data via anything other than the web interface. The bedside version does allow this updated, and unsupported firmware listed above, but for those that are unwilling to go through this process you can export much of the data from their web int...

... How to make compliance easier and cheaper. Specifically how to get people's minds to accept it as important. It would be nice to have guided meditation cds on mask acceptance, on helping people sleep with it. I hate the term "compliance" as this feeds into the insurance company's policy of want...

Re: looking for cpap supplier recommendations Ontario Canada
I've had good luck with the local office here in Cambridge for Respiratory Health Care Solutions. The local franchise owner/operator was very helpful with both the mask and machine and was supportive of my taking over my own adjustments after she got over the initial shock. I would up using a loaner...

Re: SleepyHead Qt v0.8 alpha
... ResMed's EDF doesn't appear to use the standard EDF logarithmic scaling.. From what I have observed it uses simple multiplier (divide by 50.0). The waveform data itself doesn't really need to convert, it's more the Y axis scale that needs adjustment.. ... There is no need for logarithmic scalin...

Re: SleepyHead Qt v0.8 alpha
I have been able to successfully build SleepyHead on Mac OSX Lion using Qt 4.8 beta. Things seem to run OK, loading and displaying daily and summary data looks OK. This however seems to be true for only the first run after building, or after deleting the SleepApp data folder. On subsequent runs of t...

Re: SleepyHead Qt v0.8 alpha
Specifically Apple has chosen to change compilers and this will cause problems for many things. Which is the new compiler? Fortunately, qt4-mac was the only MacPorts port that I had any trouble rebuilding on Lion, but I do see a ton of Lion-related tickets on the MacPorts web site. Lots of people a...
