Re: What is REPA ?

You know, in the time it takes to chastise a person, on this board, the question could simply be answered (which one person did - thank you)! People stop coming here because of this kind of crap - always from the same members. I've been a member for many years and see this happen time and time again...

Re: Resmed AirMIni

It gives pretty good data and what any full size machine would show - without Sleepyhead or any software. Sleepyhead (other software) gives more detail - like how many events, length of events, types of events, pressure changes (if in auto mode), etc. The airmini gives number of all events, average ...

Re: Resmed AirMIni

I've had an airmini for a few months now. I started using it, every night, to be sure it would work, for me, when I travelled. I am still using it, as a nightly machine! I really like it! I do have a full size machine, that I use every few weeks, so I can get more detail about my sleep with Sleepyhe...

Re: CPAP in the hospital, can't do without

I used my own machine when I was in hospital for 3 months, this past winter. It was fine - except the hospital respiratory therapist knew "zero" about the Intellipap, that I was using as a backup machine at the time. Fortunately, I was able to take care of it myself.

Re: Do any CPAP/APAP users sleep on their back?

I have been using cpap since 2002. I have always slept on my back. Like you, I have arthritis. It's in my hips, knees, shoulders, elbows, etc! I cannot not sleep in any other position than on my back. I use an APAP, set at 11 - 14. My titrated pressure is 11 cm. This works very well, for me, keeping...

Re: Air Mini

I have an airmini and I love it!! I have sleep apnea, and been on cpap, since 2002. Until I bought the airmini, a couple of month ago, I had always used Resprionics machines. I got the airmini as a backup and travel machine. I thought I would try it for a couple of weeks, as my regular machine. I am...

So true! We should think about what might be going on in another person's life before we put a nasty post on an internet forum! We have no idea---

Re: Help with Airfit P10 Nasal pillows

I have used this mask for several years now. I use the large pillows. The pillow should not go up into your nostrils but, rather sit just under the nose. When the pillow is new, my nose gets a little irritated but the only last one night and is not very bad. Make sure the headgear is right for you (...

Yes - it had a lot to do with the dry air in the hospital, I'm sure.

Re: Pros and cons of using or not using the humidifier feature

I have used just passive humidity (water in the humidifier but no heat) for several years now. It works well for me. Recently, I was in hospital for several months and decided I could get along without the humidifier. Within a week, my nasal passages were very dry and I was getting mild nose bleeds....
