Doctor in San Francisco?
My second post tonight... I am having extraordinary trouble finding a good doctor to help me with my CPAP treatment. After eight months, I feel worse than I did before beginning treatment. More tired, more burnt out, more headaches, and increasing memory problems. When my doctor reviewed my sleep da...

Problem setting date on Resmed S9
Somehow the date on my Resmed S9 has gone back to its default setting, Jan 1, 2008. When I try to set it to the today's date, I get the message "Invalid date/time, data exists for this period." But data does not exist for this period. Oddly, I get the same message no matter what date I try to set, e...

Putting new SD card into SD
There seems to be a problem with the SD card in my ResMed S9. My doctor has had trouble reading the card twice, and had to bring it to a different office to retrieve the data (though I've never had any problem downloading data myself). I downloaded the data myself this morning (I hadn't done so in a...

Re: Acceptable leak for Mirage Swift LT
Thank you, but there's no chart on page 5. Do you mean the chart on page 12, the "pressure-flow curve"? If so, can you explain to me how to use this chart to help me determine if my leak numbers are within an acceptable range?

Acceptable leak for Mirage Swift LT
I'm trying to figure out what is an "acceptable" leak for the Mirage Swift LT Nasal Pillow. Over the last week or so, my numbers have been: Leak L/min Median: 4.8 (stayed at this number for seven days) 95th percentile: from 14.4 to 21.6 Maximum: from 120 to 129.6 Can anyone tell me how to read these...

Re: CPAP creating the exact opposite of what I assumed
I've had to be offline for a few days, but thank you everyone so much for your advice and information. The support of this group is very moving, and I'm grateful. I just downloaded last night's data, and here are the summary numbers. Last night was not a great night. As you can see I slept just over...

CPAP creating the exact opposite of what I assumed
Hello everyone. Am I alone in that CPAP therapy is having the OPPOSITE effect that I thought it would? I've been a lifelong horrific snorer, and finally decided to get a sleep test. I knew I was likely to have sleep apnea. My father has it, and people have said that it sounds like I'm gasping for ai...

Trying to set date on ResMed S9
I'm having a strange issue, and will try to be succinct. I want to keep an eye on my own data, and installed the ResScan 3.11 software successfully. However, when I download my data it only gives me data up to September 1, 2010. Mysteriously, it has data for the last year - and I just received the m...

Newbie question about chinstraps
Hello everyone. I'm a brand-new (four days) CPAP user. It has been bad, but my experiences are so similar to some other newbies here that I won't go into much detail. I'm mostly disappointed that I feel worse, not better. I'm waking up with extreme mental fog, worse than ever in my life, am more tir...
