Windows Vista Software for CMS 50E Pulse Oximeter (V. 9.82)

Hi,

If anyone needs the Vista version version 9.82 of the SPO2 software for the CMS 50E, it is here:

Note that the 9.81 version won't work with Vista.

Install this one, reboot, make sure to only use the USB cable that came with the unit, and it should recognize and work fine. I spent way too long messing with it before I found this updated software.

Hope this saves someone the time and hassle of finding this.

Finally, I could NOT get the other version to work with my Vista computer but I couldn't find anything that would work either. Thanks for posting this because this DOES work for me on my Vista computer

Is that version of the software for Vista 64 bit?

I have Vista 32 bit and bought a CMS-50E with software several months ago and had no trouble installing the software and getting it to work on my computer.

I have Vista 32 also. I had gone back to previous posts and read everything I could find about installing the software and drivers and tried those things several times. Also Uncle Bob told he how it worked for him and I tried it (although he has XP I think so his method might not be right for Vista, I guess). But I couldn't get it to work. When I downloaded from the link above and followed the directions, it worked the first time. Not sure why but I'm very glad!

Version 0.97 works fine with Vista, and I have it running under Vista x86 and Vista x64 here, so I'd be surprised v0.981 doesn't work with Vista!

I received a CMS-50F last week. It came with ver .981. I installed it on my laptop running Windows 7 RC. It works fine without any obvious issues.

The version that came with the 50E on CD (v0.981) kept giving me a Com3 error when I tried to upload the data. (The 50E I have came with firmware v6.6 installed.)
