Swift II
Swift II is the worst buy I have ever made. I have tried to wear the mask on two separate tries. They have both resulted in extreme frustration. I am under the opinion if you have to add something to the engineering in order to make it work then the items is not ready for the general market. The design is poor at best and in my opinion the FTC needs to order a recall on the mask so we can either get Mirage to fix the problems or have an opportunity to recoup our monetary loses.
Re: Swift II
After go through a few masks, I found some mask works better for me like Swift II. IMHO Optilife sucks but others find it to be good. Some mask just works better for some people. It took me awhile to get Swift II working for me. Then again other masks may need to do some tweaking. Do not give up yet, two separate tries maybe not enough to get it working for you.

i guess what works for one will not please all. the swift II was the first interface that actually did the job with the least amount of hassle, besides being the lightest & most comfortable. the pad a cheeks makes it even better. as soon as i found that the swift worked, i bought a backup -out of pocket- have to say resmed makes some good equipment.

I put the velcro on my back straps and it works great. I had a problem with the buckle on the back of my head. It hurt and it kept a sore spot on my head. My husband took the buckle off and cut the left strap and put velcro on the right strap and the left strap so now I don't have a buckle to hurt my head. I slept with it last night and it worked great. With the extra velcro it really stays on my head, I just have to be very careful when removing it or it will pull my hair out. I can handle a little bit of hair being removed more than I can that darn buckle. This is my second week on the Swift II and so far it's the best mask I've worn. I hope it continues to work. I'm going to buy a second one just in case something happens to this one.

Thanks for bumping this Steve, I had read it before but had forgotten it. I have just recently started using a SwiftII that was given to me, and I love it! The second night that I used it, it started leaking around the ends of the barrel(as in another post here that I read) and the plumbers tape worked great! I cant wait to get my new Swift LT Friday...

Re: Tips for SWIFT users!!
To one of our NEW members from New York, this is the post I PM'd you about, but was unable to pull it from the search, which may help you with the problems with your Swift LT, as well as help others unaware of this simple fix for the back straps of many masks, which helps to make the interface more stable and leak free!
Thanks to LAURA (rested-gal) and her way of putting much information at our finger tips, I was able to find it and post it again!
Hope this helps!
