I was referring to your first post in this thread on December 3, 2005. You suggested that someone (not you) compile a collection of all of the tips offered by other Pappers. I still think that its a SWELL idea!

I think what we can all ready do is use the FAQ link at the top of the page for anything that we feel is important enough to save as a tip. For instance, Steve's Swift-fixing tips can be put in there under a category such as Mask Adjustment Tips. Anyone can put something they feel worthy in the FAQ section.

Thanks for the clarification, but I honestly wouldn't know of any other way to do it. Probably someone will step in now and come up with another suggestion that perhaps can be implemented.

I tried the idea of using the larger than recommended tips last night. They worked ok, but not necessarily any better than the medium size tips, which I think I'll stick with. The ONE main thing I must completely agree with however, is keeping it as loose as it can and still stay put. Indeed I've found the looser fit allows my sinuses to stay open instead of plug up on me, which is what tends to happen when I tighten it up. At times it literally feels like it's not even there (which is how we all want it to be). I've come to really enjoy the lightness of the unit and that it doesn't put undue pressure on my face or head. All in all so far it's wonderful. When my sinuses give me grief however, a nice nasal mask still works fine. I may just get one of those ResMeds that has that flexible bladder style nasal mask allowing for movement without compromising the seal. Who knows.....I've still been waiting for the new RemStar +M to show up. They got the wrong one (the base model M without CFlex) so I've been using that until it comes in next week..........

As I search for information about Swift Mask Leakage, I become aware of how difficult it is to find the "relevant" information inside the archives.

I have started up an index at http://www.mudie.info/cpap/ to see if an index will be useful. Its just a beginning . Comments welcomed.

I am also investigating a mini-Wikki based on CPAPTALK to see if that may be more suitable. The big advantage of a mini-Wikki is that anyone can get in there and "improve" it.

One of the difficulties I am having is that I haven't figured out how to link to a specific post. Does anyone know how to generate a link to a specific post.?

Yes there is a wondeful collection of knowledge here. My trick is to find it and also how to deal with the differences of opinion.

Well back to reducing Mask Leakage and I am feeling glad that I have bumped this wonderful thread for new people to read.
