Re: SD card for PR One
The SD 2GB card holds 10 years worth of information according to an email I had received from my therapist who checked with the manufacturer.....
Before that time arrives most people will have another machine or two....

Re: Nose Bridge Pain
New to this site. Was prescribe CPAP machine Dec 2009. Gone through several different face masks and nose masks. Finally settled on a small nose mask that has a soft gel ring. After a few days the bridge of my nose gets sore, after a week I have a blister and can not use. Have adjusted to the point...

Re: Can anyone suggest a mask for stomach/side sleeper?
I am a side sleeper and have used the "Zest" mask constantly. No leakage and comfortable....and I am constantly switching from side to side because of arthritis. I also use the Hose Lift hanger https://www.cpap.com/productpage/flexible-technologies-cpap-hose-lift.html which makes quite a difference ...

Re: Encore viewer 2 - Interpreting results
I sent over my results to my Sleep Apnea Therapist and this is what she said: I reviewed your download and it is textbook material. Our guidelines we follow for CA, OSA etc are as follows. AHI less than 5 - yours is under CA less than 5 - yours is under OSA less than 5 or less than 10 with patient e...

Re: Encore viewer 2 - Interpreting results
I think OP wanted a set template to use to compare their results with. It doesn't exist. There is no easy to look at graph to compare with. A person must learn what each piece of the data means and what the impact is to their therapy. So to OP here, if you will elaborate on what is confusing to you...

Re: Encore viewer 2 - Interpreting results
Thanks for your replies. What I seem to get out of this is that people who have the software to obtain results look primarily at the AHI reading and everything else brings on a glazed look in their eyes because they are not sure what it all means. Other than if its low readings its OK plus if there ...

Encore viewer 2 - Interpreting results
I have had the software for my PR1 machine for over 6 months and I remain confused on interpretation of some of the results. I know that my AHI is great - averaging a .5 but when it gets to the percentage of night in periodic breathing (.3%),Average CA Index (.1), Average OA index (.1), Average OA i...

Re: What can you tell me about Pulmonary Hypertension
Thanks to all of you for your replies. I will be getting at least three tests: Chest XRay, a "V/Q scan", which is what I think Slinky was describing. It sounds like it is the pulmonary equivalent of a heart catheterization. I will also be doing what they called a "six minute walk", which appears to...

Re: Question about "status" info on machine
The machine will not show any used space until about 3-4 months. After using my PR1 system for 10 months it shows 96% available.
The SD card will record up to 10 years of data - I had the same concerns until I checked this out with my provider.

Re: question about cleaning mask
I use the Ivory Liquid classic and after soaking & washing I rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat down with a clean towel. Then let it air dry. I have never had residual water marks and I suppose it is because I dry with a clean face towel. The Ivory Classic seems to be the soap of choice on thi...
