So, I was misinformed (I'm sure no one is surprised) the model I received today is an Air sense 10 auto set. Woohoo!
Happy for you, doin the Happy Dance.

For other readers, always choose (demand) an auto cpap, Always. It will have more options, more flexibility to fit your needs.

Re: Airsense 10 CPAP (basic model) and using OSCAR

There is a way to get what you want and that is to have your doc write on the prescription the specific make and model of the cpap you want along with the words No substitutions. I did this once with Lincare. Unfortunately they sent it back to my doc 4x debating the wording saying it didn't say thi...

No they didn't unfortunately.
It's not all that common unless one knows who they are dealing with like Apria or Lincare.

I'm hoping that I can switch it out when they get the new models in stock, There is a way to get what you want and that is to have your doc write on the prescription the specific make and model of the cpap you want along with the words No substitutions. I will have access to a New in the box unused...

Re: A primer on looking at System One Leak lines

I totally disagree with you Gumby. np you are entitled to. Get in line I still contend that to find out if you are leaking you should (need to) check with the software for your machine to determine if the leak rate is within the manufacturers specs or NOT. IF your machine is a brick you may never k...

Re: A primer on looking at System One Leak lines

A good thread: This info about leak lines is helpful in relieving the anxiety some people get when looking at their bumpy/jagged leak graphs. Besides all the newer machines easily adjust and adapt to moderate leaks, thereby maintaining excellent therapy. If it isn't doing that for some reason, it w...

To me that is the whole point. Faces are like fingerprints and that masks fit (out-of-the-box) like personalities.

Meaning how could anyone expect their mask to fit perfectly right out of the box?

Re: Poll: Do you use your mask as it came or with modifications

Me thinks that IF you are using a mask right out of the box then your therapy is likely not very effective and/or you have not checked to see IF it is. So my answer is with mods. You may find it hard to believe but there is a whole sun-culture of people who think that simply wearing the cpap mask (a...
