Thanks for the info. Chat wasn't a bad experience at all last night contrary to what I had read in a separate thread here on this board about security issues there. It was my first time back in about 2 years. Thanks for the post and you have a nice day now you hear.

Au contraire! 30+ yrs allergies, sinusitis, rhinitis both vasomotor and gustatory (caused by certain foods) With CPAP therapy, I no longer have sinus infections thank goodness.

I use saline sprays and saline rinses/irrigation, use Nasonex most mornings, take generic Claritin every night, used to use Astepro but now it just makes me congested. My congestion has been so bad sleeping on my back (injured shoulder that isn't healed enough to side sleep again) that I'm using Afrin in one nostril every few nights (so far no rebound congestion) as mouth breathing is very uncomfortable & drying even with a FFM esp with my higher pressures back sleeping, take Quercetin & buffered vitamin C & bioascorbates. Sleep doc gave me a script for the nasal spray form of Atrovent...haven't tried it yet.

No chemicals here except loratadine.
I've always been really sensitive to smells.
A smoke-filled bar once left my eyes so swollen I couldn't open them the next day.
I cannot go INTO Bed, Bath & Beyond from October through December.
Fortunately, the light plastic smell from Dumbo (my machine) is not unpleasant.

Oh my. I don't use anything daily, but usually use Astelin if needed. Last week I used Nasonex twice instead. Each time, the next day, I had the most bizarre smelling situations. I smelled something so bad it literally gagged me, I almost tossed my cookies. Nobody else could smell what I was smelling. I was concerned that perhaps I had a brain tumor!! It did not even occur to me that it could have been the Nasonex. Hmmmm...
